I wrote this at the start of the pandemic 2 years ago and forgot about it until I stumbled upon it recently. There was a distinct lack of content with krakens or scyllas then and I wanted to remedy that.

My goal was to make a prey POV story that focused on sensuality while avoiding telling you what to say or how to feel. I thought this would help make it easier to self-insert as the prey.

As for the names of the places and celebration, I put that there as an opportunity for future world building, but only time will tell if I actually do anything with that.
