A story about an adventurer who learns the hard way that while forests can be scenic, they can also be dangerous, especially when the local population is preparing to hibernate.

I'm a big fan of nature settings if you couldn't tell from the last story. It makes everything feel so much more primal. That being said, going forward I want to experiment with some other settings and perspectives. We'll see if I actually get around to that lol.

Good story, I loved it. One question though, is the bear birl more of an Anthro, or a human with bear traits?
