My self-imposed Writing Challenge is finally underway! The rules are relatively simple. I write and publish a story every day with a theme pertaining to a designated "Word of the Day." The calendar for this is linked further down the description. Let us see how long I can keep this going before I lose steam =3=.

My intention is to finish the entire month. With the Fall semester coming around, my writing may slow down, so I want to go out with a bang before I inevitably need to divert my attention from all this. I hope you all enjoy what I have to make this month.

Today's word of the day is "Hamburger!"

A predator on whose been keeping herself on a diet for a few years has finally reduced her body weight to a manageable size. Unfortunately, she runs late for work and needs to eat something to keep from starving before lunch. She spots her old favorite fast food joint on her way there, The Grease Trap, reluctantly going there for breakfast... Her diet is as good as ruined after one visit.
