Two friends, Megan and Heather, go to Canada to hike over the trail in Wendigo Mountain. With a name like that you can tell the place isn't exactly safe for two mouthwatering americans.

Wow, this one surprised even me! The begining was super sloppy, but when things start to get going, it almost looks like I can write!

Jokes aside, this one features Ithaqua, created by August Derleth, who is basically just Algernon Blackwood's "Wendigo" transported to the Cthulhu Mythos. Derleth is kind of a tricky subject on the Mythos, with all his elemental stuff and good vs evil bullshit. I, for my part, think he's a complete scoundrel, but can't help but like the guy.

I recently read his Ithaqua stuff, and while they were no masterpieces(the first one was downright trashy, but the second was an effective little tale), they were fun enough to put me in a Wind-Walker mood and want to write his story.
