Linea is an ancient dragon that has lived out throughout most of civilization. She sleeps for a thousand years between feedings, bringing a few months of pure destruction as she devours crops and villages without a second thought. Linea seems to be worshipped by the locals, seeing her as a guardian to be awoken at the most dire situations.

She lays almost completely still most of her life, her heart only beating once per hour. Linea's metabolism is rather slow, adapted to digest and absorb very difficult nutrients over a long period of time. Her stomach is said to be slightly acidic.

Linea is often overtaken by nature each sleeping cycle, her body covered in trees and vegetation.

People say that great treasure is hidden within her, but all those who have entered her cave have never returned. People believe that thousands of years worth of destruction has her insides crammed full of valuables that survive the weak stomach acids. Empires and strongholds have fallen to her mighty jaws.

No one knows how old Linea is or how she got here, she's been here since the beginning of documented history.

All sacrifices have been ignored by Linea, she showed no interest or acknowledgement. She's a mere beast that roams the land.

The mating cycle of such an incredible beast have been theorized to be the end of empires, bringing destruction as they believe Linea will get up and roam the land until she can find a partner... If she can find a partner. People haven't discovered another stone dragon yet, believing she's the last of her kind or that any potential partners are in a much further away land.

Such despair such a great creature would feel to fail to find a partner, destroying more and more as they grief.

... Maybe a tiny dragon will comfort her?
