It is nice to see Kristen and Brendan's children in this story, they seems like to lovable kittens : )
And Kristen herself turns out to have a remarkable talent for haggling XD
I would say that Britany has aged in your first mention of her grey striped hair, but is she dead already???

And how are you going to argue with someone when you can't tell if they're messing with you on purpose or on accident!
Unfortunately, brownies in this world age like dogs, and at this point Britany is 14 going on 15. She couldn't last any longer even in a safe, healthy environment.
