This story is based on The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. As you may know, Spyro is a dragon, but he lost his parents before his egg could even hatch. He was raised in a family of dragonflies, believing he was one of them.
And the question you have to ask is: what did he eat while he was in this family? Dragons and dragonflie must have very different metabolic requirements. So in this story I wanted to explore how Spyro became a predator despite ignoring his true nature.

Funny enough, this is pretty different from most of my stories. Usually, my stories are about a pred confidently eating a prey, then getting less and less confident about this as indigestion kicks in...
But here we have a pred that was extremely worried at the idea of eating a prey, and who slowly goes more confident in their ability, up until becoming the most respected predator around here.
