Happy 30th anniversary, Mario Kart! Princess Peach has entered a tournament to celebrate the release of Mario Kart 8, but isn't doing too well due to her low weight class. Will our heroine manage to take the gold?

Okay, this one has been a while in the making. It all started when I made the mistake of calling Pink Gold Peach a "Peach faker" to  ZeldaNoVorsu, who pointed out that it could be a powerup form. I disagreed, saying that there was no powerup that would make Peach into Pink Gold Peach.

And then I googled Pink Gold to see if it was even real. Turns out, according to Google, it's a combination of copper, silver, and gold. Two of those caught my attention, and now here we are.

Of course, I had to finish his birthday story first, but now here we are, just in time for the 30th anniversary!

Would you prefer I talk about how I flustered you over this particular MK character, causing you to write this?

I-I'll take the funny scribe comment.

Even though he got eaten, Mario still made the podium, just as Big N would have wanted.

Yep, with a lead like that, it was hard for even Peach to win. Not only did she need to get first, she had to make sure Mario got last. And there's only one guaranteed way to do that...

I just want to add on to that description and say that Pink Gold, or more commonly known as Rose Gold, is an actual color. Nintendo chose the color for her as requested by the women in their staff who wanted another heavyweight female and a counterpart for Metal Mario.

Oh, the staff wanted her? I can't say I knew that, I guess a counterpart for Metal Mario would make sense. Peach would probably have been the better choice compared to Silver Luigi. And they kept it up with the DLC with Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach too.
