"Why? You want a job? I got a few openings you could fill."

Kat leers at me with that same wide grin. We all know exactly what openings she meant here.

"Just curious is all. I mean clearly people pay to watch you do it. I didn't really know there was a market for... this."

Kat's eyes soften for a moment. Not the real kind of softening where it feels like compassion. This was fake, mock compassion.

"Aww. It's cute how you avoid saying it out loud. It's okay to say it. I shoved you up my ass. C'mon say it."

I feel my ears redden as my chest tightens. Of course, I don't want to say it. She literally just shat me out an hour ago. The hit to my pride and psyche is all still too fresh to verbalize. Though I know better than to ignore a direct order. No matter if it was worded as a joke.

"Fine! I was just curious how much money you made from people that wanted to see you... shove me up your ass."

"See? Was that so hard? And to answer your question it was about $1000 before tax."

My jaw dropping must've been funny to her because Kat immediately begins cackling.

"F-from just one person, right?"

Kat looks offended for a moment. "No not just one person, dumbass. I got like 44 tier-3's. That's $24.99 a pop. That adds up."

That's a bigger number than I expected. Do that many people really like this kind of thing? Enough to pay that much?

"If they like it so much, why don't you just get one of them down here and shove them up your ass? I mean surely they'd pay you for it. Isn't that what you want?"

Kat's face is an imperceptible mask as she takes a sip of her coffee. It makes a heavy thud as she places it back onto the table, sighing.

"You just don't get it, do you?"
