Tonight’s prompt was ‘Hunt’ and it seemed like a perfect one for Zero. So I sat down, typed, and typed… and this is ultimately what I came up with. I’m not going to lie, I’m not very proud of it. The idea to focus more on the prey and try to create the feeling of being hunted was something that I thought was a good idea, but it just means there’s absolutely no focus on Zero for it. That and it turned out much shorter than I thought it was and that just made me more irritated with it. It’s under 2k words and nothing to me seems like it can make it a touch longer. An epilogue would just feel unnatural and tacked on for the sake of length, so thus here I am with just this ridiculously short piece.

Well, I suppose it’s not the worst thing I’ve written. Just means I have to make the other entries better. I guess I should also resolve to give Zero a better story one day outside of this. I should also resolve to try and add something to her name so I don't have to fiddle with the tagging system because 'zero suit samus' is a tag for some reason despite the fact that 'Samus' would just suffice enough.
