Mayday loved Christmas. Though she was usually working at her bed and breakfast during it. But one year, she got a reprieve, no guests this year! So she decided to go caroling with her boyfriend at the time Bright.

As the night went on, she became more and more aware of Bright’s terrible caroling. As she got more and more tired, his singing grated on her ears ever more. As the clock hit ten she remembered nothing of her night, fading away into a drunken state where her Midnight persona took over. The next thing she remembered was awakening at home on Christmas day. Boyfriend nowhere in sight and dozens of texts from her friends complementing her on her santa belly last night.
