Hard times have fallen on the local zoo since the pandemic, so they've taken to feeding volunteer human meals to the animals! However, some sneaky zoo workers have found ways to trick unwary guests into volunteering without realizing they're getting gobbled up. Such is the case with the ditzy Casey, who was just having a pleasant outing at the zoo, and thought she had a chance to see a favourite animal up close. But she had no idea she'd end up THIS close! Before she realizes what's happening, Casey is stripped and placed in a bowl, then immediately tossed to the hungry tigress! There's barely any time to object before the cat's jaws are around Casey's body - no blood drawn, but biting just hard enough to leave some bruising. After being swallowed, Case screams out her negative review to deaf ears. At least this majestic jungle cat didn't go hungry!

You may notice the tigress is slightly anthro, for a zoo animal. I've mentioned this before, but in Juniper's world a small percentage of animals are born with a humanoid body (and some are people turned into animals, and their memories lost - in fact, that might be how this all began...). These more humanoid animals - which I haven't given an official name to - have sexualized bodies and human mannerisms, but they can't talk, and still have the same basic intelligence as their species - or typically, less. They exist, of course, so I have cute furry-ish characters in Juni's reality - with innocently naive preys, and cold, selfish preds.

Actually, I haven't done much on paper as far as world building for Juniper, but have plenty in my head. There's a timeline of her life, alongside the other characters and all the split-offs where they are eaten. I'd like to do bio pages for all my main OCs with some stats and preferences, and a project called "Juniper's Bestiary" or something, that shows doodles and notes for the species and monsters I've made, including these anthro animals. I feel like it's been long enough, my characters need proper references pages, right?

Oh, and speaking of pages, I did get my next sketchbook today! So I have two big drawings coming up - a last page and a first page. Haven't decided what to do yet, open to some suggestions on my ideas: for the cover page I thought either Anise (since her big comic is next) or Cookie (being my newest, important character). I'd add Just Instincts OCs too, since there should be a lot of that this year, but Tanya the Bee was on the previous cover. And for the last page, maybe something special? I thought about having all my prey OCs in one pic with their feet sticking out of snakes or something. Or I could design my Khajiit fan character and get her introduction out of the way. What do you guys think?

I have one more scrap page left to draw while I wait on comments and my own ideas - so, should be one more random vore thing later today. Also I have big stuff coming up here soon - I'm just nine pics away from my 500th, and just over two weeks away from my third anniversary here on Eka's! I thought it'd be great to synch them - submit that pic on the special day, February 3rd. However, at the rate I've been drawing lately, I might get to 500 before next month! Oh well, if that's the case, maybe I can do TWO celebration drawings!

She should have read the terms and conditions of the ticket before entering the zoo... but hey, at least the other guests get a good show!

Yes, she must have missed the disclaimer, about how guests can be asked to feed themselves to animals, with minimal consent. And yeah, I almost did a different background, with silhouettes of people cheering and taking photos as she's eaten, it just felt like too much at the time

Oh fuck yes. Love me some big cat preds. With cute little Casey as the prey too. Good shit.

This isn't the first time you've drawn poor Casey having a mishap at the zoo... She really ought to pay more attention to her dreams, they're windows into the lives of our alternate selves after all!

Right? Big felines make great preds, especially all those with striking orange & black patterns. And Casey is just an ideal prey for hungry animal preds!

Actually, I wanted to do a whole series of Casey being eaten by zoo animals. It would've been a comic where each page was just a possible ending of the day for her, but I realized it made more sense to do them as stand alone comics. There'll probably be a few more Zoo Animal/Casey comics in the future!

Oh yes. A series Casey getting munched at the zoo sounds amazing! The one of the giraffe you did for your 200th post is actually one of my all time favourite pieces by you.

That 200th picture is my most favourited piece - actually I noticed Casey tends to get more faves. Plenty of other zoo animals, so expect to see more some day!

"These more humanoid animals - which I haven't given an official name to-"

*Cracks knuckles* Let's see if I can help here. I'm guessing you don't wanna use "morphs" since that's a bit cliche, so, since their bodies are more sexualized, how about "voluptuals" or maybe just "sexies"? And, I can imagine people in-universe might call them "AILF's-" "Animals I'd Like to F^$%"

Some pretty good ideas there - their name probably would come down to something about what society thinks of them, yeah. But, naming is something I usually do last, after I really get a feel for what the character/species/series/whatever means to me. Whiiich is why it takes forever to name things, but I'll get really mad if I pick something I don't like.

I love this scenario, and it’s great to see big cat preds! The bulge she makes is a bit strange though. It looks like she’s under only one layer of skin, rather than deep inside the stomach

Big cat preds have always been a favourite pred for me, too! Yeah, I went with the stylized, elastic stomach wall in this one, to show Casey struggling. Like how I do internals mostly as just a tummy-shaped line around the prey. Sacrificing realism for vorish features...
