Seems like Mint's passed out after their third course. A gut with 210 kilograms of meat would be hard to carry. thankfully Benjamin's there to lend a hand.

Honestly can't blame them. it'd be hard to stay awake after a meal that large.

Many animals sleep during digestion , allowing for their bodies to allocate and focus their energy to digestion. This couldn't be truer for Homo Gulosus.

Although they can stay awake while a meal is digesting, it wouldn't be in best interest as their meals often end weighing them down, if not sometimes completely immobilising them. sleeping often helps speed up the process of digestion to help shrink their bellies to a more workable or mobile size.

It's believed that hormones are released upon certain triggers from nervous cells around the gut, which induce sleepiness in members of H.gulosus, but can easily be affected by external factors such as temperature, or the amount of psychological stress the predator is under.
