Hehe, seems like dragon tummy is too tough for that toothpick! Not so surprising since she literally takes lava baths and is tough as hell overall... :D

She looks cute with the tin man's ineffective struggles <3

Yeah, way too obvious of a strategy. If it had worked someone else would have already done it.

This was one of my favorite nitpicks with this kind of thing. Claws swords knives anything to cut through the problem. But in this case it just proves that the problem is tougher than the blade

Couldnt the knight just stab into the dragon and destroy other inner organs like liver, small intestent and muscles. Like inner organs are easily damaged by a even a dull metal stick and we can see it poking through. So why don t just keep stabbing till you hit inners of the dragon and then just keep stabbing the same place till dragon dead?

Also inner bleeding from displacing organs or muscles and vein and other stuff.

And why not just put behind one stab all your weight to more easily displace and penetrate the stomach wall and internal organs ?

Wow well that's an interesting thought) Well, the strong stomach of this character is a convention of this world, in a world where dragons fly, knights walk and there is magic. As for hitting the internal organs while inside, it's quite difficult for me. Because of the banal inconvenience of the character lying inside, he cannot bring all the force into the blow. It is also necessary to take into account the disorientation in the stomach, it is not completely clear where up? where is the bottom? where are her organs located? It is difficult to understand from the inside. And thirdly, whether his blow will reach the internal organs and whether they will be able to cause significant damage is also very controversial.

Your option is quite capable of existence, but this is at a more desperate moment when there is nothing more to hope for. It will be much easier to try to negotiate, which is what the knight is trying to do

A weak liver punch can put down even a horse or other creature, because of the sensetivety of the organ to trauma and the size of the organ ( in all of the animals due to filtration and absorption reasons) it is very easy to hit ( even if you don t know where it is) and even more easily damaged and if nothing works a liver punch causes the boxer or an animal to vomit the contents of a stomach as a safety mechanism. (a sword or knife has more " potential" for creation of damage due the distribution of energy to one point and the lever effect making it far more potent and damaging then a punch (4-10 times even)

You dont need to know where are the organs, because your are surounded by them and you can hear the cry of the dragon from pain when you hit and organ so you stay in that area with the knife burrowed in and just push ( most like you will hit his liver and other less important organs) and you didnt talk about internal bleeding , which would be deadly even if it wasnt fatal and you were unlucky. Also you know where the organs are by the strethiness of the belly ( if air then very strechy if innards not very stretchy).

I am amazed at your knowledge in this area. and any inhabitant of the Middle Ages, even a fully educated one, would be amazed. knowledge of anatomy and what is responsible for what, where and how in the body, only doctors knew, and then not completely and with great inaccuracies (even considering that these are the insides of animals and fabulous creatures, which are somewhat different). You can see what methods of treatment of certain diseases were in the Middle Ages, a terrible sight. the knowledge of the knights is reduced to fairly simple and effective primitives (hit in the face, stomach, groin, knees and armpits, and the wounds must be sewn up and attached with this, which is not very clear to you)

Again, I will question the effectiveness of strikes from the inside, it’s just inconvenient. and the rule of this world is that by blows it does no harm, even internal bleeding will not start. and I don't want to come up with a biological justification for it. it's a given)

Tom44y

The Middle ages are not very dark as people thought and most knight where very much educated on where to hit or what part of a bodies is best to hit. For fuck sakes there are whole book about how to hit the liver or the place of the liver to disable the opponets. How to stop a heart and they knew about this from experimenting on animals even thought they didnt how they work. They just learned it by trial and error over the ages and pass down the knowledge to later generations of knight. So no the middle ages where not as dark or without wisdom or knowledge. Even the thou the average peasent didnt know much.(For example the plough was mastered in this era or windmills where mastered and so on).

She eats and digests metal armor and weapons, and she literally bathes in lava.

I doubt regular biology rules like "liver punch causes vomiting" are applied to a body able to withstand 1500C.

I also doubt any human has enough physical strength to give her any real harm using melee weapon besides giving her scales a scratch like in the previous pages of the comic.

You also won't be able to make a swing big enough in the tight confines of her stomach, the best you can hope for is one-inch punch like in Kill Bill movie.

Anyway, I don't think there can be any real arguments about fiction since it doesn't have to obey the rules of the real world, especially when we talk about same size vore.

In real world the predator would suffocate because the prey would get stuck in the entrance to their chest or squash their lungs/heart as it gets squeezed through it, so what? It's just fetish fantasy, no need to overthink it. I doubt many people would love to see this beautiful dragoness to be gut out for the sake of realism.

It doesnt matter what temperature can she withstand our bodies and everyother body in existance is build to withstand attacks from outside of the body and not inside of the body. And organs attacked from angle of another organ are very very vurnerable to even a small and weak punch. He doesnt need to know what organ he is hurting ( he knows by the creams of the dragon ) just that liver is the biggest organ in any body of a creature. And it is shown that a weak punch from outside of the body can KO beings very badly and no imagine a fairly weak punch coming not from the outside, but from the very vurnerable inside. I say it would cause a knock out and if continued death.

Again, no organic is able to withstand temperatures, which would melt steel. Safe to assume her biology is based on silicon or other chemical element much more resilient then carbon. Good luck punching a liver made of tetravalent metalloid - might punch a concrete wall instead.

Tom44y

Posted by Tom44y 2 years ago Report

That are much more properties to a metal then its melting point for example your tetravalent metalloid is much more brittle less stable and "softer" than regular iron swords which is very much design to have very high tensile strenght and some hardness alnost no brittleness and so just because one material has very height melting point doesnt mean that it is better than anyother metal for example "iron"(in a dagger which is design for specific to punch throught steel armour much more stronger then any tetravalent metaloid could). And a another thing is silicon is very much a not good absorbent of kinetic or any other energy except chemical or thermal and is very reactive with oxygen so no. And tetravalent metalloid is not very flexable with is tensile strenght so she would have much problems with moving around. And he doesnt need to destroy the liver just damage it enough where is works sub optimally or just stop working properly.(just displace tissue)

Tom44y

Posted by Tom44y 2 years ago Report

He doesnt need to know about the location of organs he only needs to try and poke and poke until the dragon screams in pain that he hit one ( liver is the biggest organ and the most likely to be hit ) that just hit and hit and hit the area until the "liver" or organ have enough destroyed or dislocated tissue that the organ malfuctions and make it only parcially working or stops working. This will make the dragon very weak and sick ( it might make the dragon vomit) or very dead depending on the organ his is hitting. Continue for and hour or a half an hour and the dragon is dying or dead. And the reason he can even do this to a very powerfull dragon is because every organism on the planet was created to withstand force from the outside and not the inside out so every organ from the angle of a another organ is very vurnerable to being destroyed and hit and there is no protective muscle (only the "light" white musclethat works for regulation of organs) or skin/ scales --)another important barrier.

Wow what's going on here)) a whole battle) I will make my last argument and will not return to this issue again. Maybe he'll convince you. You claimed that organisms have gained strong protection from external threats, but not from internal ones, and she (Azali) is a creature adapted to swallowing prey, so let's imagine that she is also adapted and just as strong from the inside from threats to internal organs)

MakMil

It's still a fantastic creature. And according to the logic of the knight, it is easier to try to negotiate with him, outwit or deceive, than to try to poke at her for hours in the hope of a miracle. And please let's stop the argument even if you disagree with me, I am grateful to you that you expressed your point of view, it is not devoid of logic and meaning, as well as the path that my character went is not devoid of logic
