You take a turn down the hall, everyone else already gone, the thundering footsteps were audible behind you, stomping, following, hunting.
Another turn, a tighter corridor, a door. Then bam! This was just the broom closet, tucked away in a short and narrow corridor. No window, no other doors, not even a broom to show for it.
THUD... Huff ...
You already knew, but you turned anyway to see. The beast had wedged herself down into the tight turn of the building, her massive bulk bunching up beside her by the walls, pinning her in place. She had already assessed your situation, and hers.
With a mock sigh she placed her head onto her hand and gazed at you through half lidded eyes. Waiting.
You had two options. Accept your fate and walk into your doom, or wait just long enough for her to burn just enough fat to squeeze the rest of the way in and grab you. But by then you posit that her hunger will have made her all the more frustrated.
