One of my favourite film genres is 'gory 80's remakes of 50's B-movies that begin with 'The' followed by a single one-syllable noun, which make liberal use of gloopy-looking animatronics', of which the 3 luminaries are The Thing, The Fly and The Blob.

While this remake of the original Invasion of the Man-Eating Giants (https://aryion.com/g4/view/867384) doesn't quite fit into that category on account of its name being too long, I like to think it fits right along in spirit.

In keeping with the era, the woman on the front cover is not actually in the movie, it bombed on release but found a following on home media, and several of the cast were in episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Frasier and Columbo.
