Whilst most predators held power above the serfs, there were some who had no land or serfs and survived in the wilderness as bandits. Whilst lords would vigorously protect their subjects from banditry, it was impossible for that protection to be absolute.
This rabbit boy worked as a forager for his village, venturing away from the relative safety of the village to collect necessities from the surrounding wooded areas, such as firewood and herbs.
Unbeknownst to him, for his last few trips, he had been watched. A fox girl named Robin had been patiently waiting, hidden in the foliage, observing his comings and goings. Whilst she is quite skilled at surviving off berries and other food sources in the wilderness, she now must hunt prey around a nearby village for the predatory nutrition only they can provide her.
As the rabbit boy made another one of his foraging trips to the woods, the same trip he's made for many years, he suddenly heard a 'woosh' of air. In an instant, he felt his body grabbed by - something - and saw the path rush away, rushing into the nearby thick shrubbery.
He had little idea or understanding of what was going on or happening to him. All he could see were blurs, and felt like he was being thrown around in the air.
Robin had snatched her quarry and shrunk back into the safety of the woods, disappearing as quickly as she had appeared. She quickly reached a safe, secluded spot for her to enjoy the fruits of her labor.
When the forager finally regained his bearings, he was looking up towards the tree canopy and sky beyond. Simultaneously, he felt wetness moving up his legs from his feet and some sort of pressure, as if he were sliding into a soaked sleeping bag. This was paired with a grumbling noise from below - for only a moment he was confused, as he had already ate - but the realization came quick. He looked down, towards the face of the fox girl consuming him, sometimes feeling her teeth as she pushed him deeper within her. His left arm was pinned, so he looked backwards, away from his captor, reached out with his free arm, and yelled with as much force as his could, hoping someone, anyone, would hear him.
Robin couldn't help but drool as she tasted the rabbit boy - it'd been quite some time since she'd last satiated her need for prey, and the sweaty taste of the meal she'd worked so hard to acquire. She couldn't help but enjoy it, chewing lightly on the rabbit boy, as she steadily consumed him. She was not concerned by his scream - the village was far too distant, and she'd scouted thoroughly to ensure her prey would be the only person in the area. She'd been discovered at the last village she hunted around and was forced to flee empty-handed - she made sure that this would not happen again.
It was only her and him, the Rabbit Boy's future; a grumbling stomach, happily awaiting him, preparing to provide this fox girl the nutrition she needs.

I love feudal predator/prey stories. It's that nice split between wild and civilization.
