The idea of being skilled enough to pull that off is so good and hot, making the prey slide in faster and more easily by burping is a great thing I never knew I needed to see

OOOOH that's wonderful! The throat swells as the gas escapes, letting the prey slide down...and as a bonus the prey gets a little taste of what their new home is going to be like...

Yuuuup. Depending on how forceful it is their gut might actually vacuum them down... Really a terrifying experience for a prey, them trembling with suspense, wondering if their captor will actually hork them up midway through, and a sight to behold to spectators.

Love this concept, and even more if the prey goes in feet first, so that the face is the last thing outside and the burp flies past their face, then it slips into the throat to disappear into the pred's body

That is very true, I liked the idea of the feet sliding down rapidly, but that angle also is wonderful for some last second face-belch
