Weiss will probably be less rude towards Ruby for becoming the leader than in canon after this experience. Least her pride leads to Ruby having to discipline her.

I actually like how this story did not just gloss over Ruby's defeat of the goons attacking the dust store. This makes the event feel like a big deal and gives credibility that Ozpin would be impressed by Ruby's skill. Even if she was unconventional.
Also liked the part Yang poked Ruby's flat belly. For one, felt like they are sisters and do tease each other. And second, love how Ruby's stomach is flat. Being a huntress is hard work and the story did mention how Ruby was cutting back on eating. Indicating that even predators can have an hourglass figure.
And yeah, just the little details of Yang rubbing Ruby's head while teasing her about being a glutton. Wish the actual story had more of these small character moments.
Also like the detail Ruby's stomach immediately started growling while being surrounded by others yet held her stomach and directly told herself, "Not now." Was that just Ruby holding her impulses in? Or would Ruby actually eat her fellow huntresses if she thought she could get away with it? Anyway, good scene.
And just love you keeping up the teasing of Ruby. Teasing Weiss inside her belly. Then later teasing Weiss when she was studying. And finally teasing Blake by opening up her maw over her head.
