Here’s a recent story coming out of the wrestling world, straight from the city of Charleston:

”Top Female Wrestling Star, Zuwena horrifies audience by eating Opponent!”

From what I’m hearing, this incident is shaking not only the entire industry, but everyone’s mind. So what exactly happened? What occurred at this muscle-bound event? And is there any truth to the headline?

It was a Monday night at the North Charleston Coliseum when the matter at hand took place. That night, there was a big pay per view event for the United Wrestling Alliance (UWA) company. It was a standard affair: a few hours of mindless fighting and trash-talking all woven together with a thinly-veiled storyline. And it would be at that event where the biggest revelation/twist of the canon was to arrive.

The performer that had it all on them was a unique lady named Portia Freeman , known in the ring as “Zuwena, the High Priestess of Steel”. Freeman had gained acclaim for her mixture of martial art-tier stamina and modern Pro wrestling maneuvers. But when joining UWA, her persona had changed.She became a more mythical and supernatural character with abilities from the unknown (unknown being technical wrestling mixed with Laamb/Senegalese wrestling). And yes, it still convinced people. Her well toned physique and stylish uniform that radiated with power made her a fan favorite.

Up against her that night was another fan-favorite lady fighter, worthy of being Zuwena’s rival: Yonca, The Turkish Delight. Just like Freeman’s rise to “Priestesshood”, Yonca/Hülya Altug gained her notoriety from her work in Turkish MMA and American Semi-Pro Wrestling. She had alerted the UWA of her presence when she participated at a female Martial Arts workcamp, hosted by none other than Ms. Freeman. Yonca had wowed Freeman with her skills. It was instantly decided by the gracious host that she needed this Turkish girl to be a part of the UWA family.

The family felt the two had the chemistry for an in-the-ring performance. However, it needed a twist: make it a rivalry. What captures a wider audience than a televised catfight? Thus began a series of scripted vignettes and promos, telling the tale of the powerful, yet responsible teacher Zuwena having to fight her out-of-control, spoiled pupil. The story had gone for half a year; things began to get stale. Thus, it was agreed upon to spice the story up. And in those brainstorming sessions, the night in question was made.

The crowd was ready to see the great unravel. They couldn’t wait to see their beloved gals' rivalry come to a possible end. What they got instead was otherworldly.

That night's UWA performance started off normal as usual. As the show carried with Jason "Hurricane" Forley V. Terry Hernendez and Gary Jax V. Dennis "TophamH@" Olsen, the "tension" between our lady titans was built around the vignettes shown on the big screen. The fight was set as the grand finale.

During this time, a few cast members had reported Freeman acting very different; a bit frustrated than usual. She claimed it was simple hunger pains from not eating prior to the show.

The moment had come. The ultimate battle between Freeman and Altug was about to begin. The crowd roared with excitement as the two made their way to the ring. Still in absolute character, they both glared at each other like two comic book rivals would. Who would win? The teacher or the student? And then the bell rang.

The two went at it for almost ten minutes. From suplexes to a few fake takedowns, the fight was beginning to look in favor of the high priestess. But as expected, conflict arose. The Turkish Delight surprised her teacher with a "twist". Yes, she twisted herself and coiled her legs around Zuwena and brought her down. Feet to her face, Zuwena was incapacitated. The countdown to ten began. It all began to go in favor of Yonca.

People near the ring remembered Freeman's expression looking rather unusual despite the situation. No look of disappointment or defeat, but… unbridal excitement. Contently staring at her opponent's feet in her way. She grabbed it by ankle, and then… stuck the toes in her mouth. The audience laughed at this. Totally an unorthodox thing a performer could do.

And then the heel went in, and then the ankle, then to the knees in a matter of seconds. Before any one could process what was going on, Ms. Hülya was up to her chest with Freeman’s lips sliding her down. Eventually, all of the Turkish Delight had landed in her opponent's gut.

Zuwena lifted herself up, her belly now protruding and squirming with a living being inside. The outlines of her prey had become all the more clear with the lighting. She stood for a few seconds, gained her composure, and raised her arms in the air. There, she flexed her guns and let out a mighty roar. The roar was immediately replaced with a loud wet burp.

However, it seemed that burp had awakened Zuwena from whatever adrenaline-filled stupor she was in. It all came flooding back to her. What she had done. Everyone who saw her face upclose could read what was said: Regret. All she could was fall to her knees (her belly cushioning the fall) and weep.

The majority of the audience stayed to watch the aftermath of this sudden turn of events. Many left in terror as the horrir began. No one knew how or why this had happened? What caused this wrestling legend to devour one of her best proteges and good friends?

Jim Ross, the event's special guest host had this to say: “That Jezebel ate her good friend, that ain't right! DAMN HER, damn her to hell!"

This piece started off as practice for drawing at different angles, and it turned into an experiment in lighting and mood... I need to do this again c: It took a while to nail the look I was going for, and to type out the long story I made. It's okay if you don't read of all it.
