Whether you like it not, and regardless of how the film has aged, you can’t deny that Starship Troopers is a classic. And like many of the other scifi flicks of its time, it goes hard on the gross and slimy elements of the genre. Wouldn’t be a classic alien film without at least one drooling space critter, now, would it?
