A more completed reference picture of Caiman Thalia, done by the lovely  joystickbabe ^^

She's based on the Cuvier's dwarf caiman, and her attire, while very much reminiscing of her human form, has a different story attached to it.

NAME: Thalia.
RACE: Caiman (based on the Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman).
HEIGHT: 1.45 meters.
FAVORITE PREYS: Poachers.
LEAST FAVORITE PREYS: Preys with hard to digest scales.
STOMACH CAPACITY: Around 8 preys, a few less if they are bigger than her.
DIGESTION TIME: Her stomach can grind her preys in around a couple of days, no matter how many she eat. They spent most of their time in her intestines being slowly absorbed, due to the metabolism of Caimans.
HOME: In a vast swamp, near a populated area of poachers.

BIO: Thalia is kind of an anomaly among Caimans. When she was very little, an alchemist took her as a pet and experimented on her a weird concoction that would theoretically make her scales gold. This obviously didn't work, but during the test, the alchemist slipped and accidentally hit their heads, knocking themselves out. Thalia seized this opportunity and swallowed them whole, however she ended up eating also a few other potions they were carrying. After digesting her (rather large due to her young age) meal, Thalia found out an interesting thing about her scales: they became much tougher. She discovered this while she accidentally brushed her arm on the edge of a table, and ended up scraping a solid chunk out of it.
While this was more of a curiosity for the young Thalia, as she got older, her scales drew the attention of many poachers that find her to be extremely profitable.
Caimans don't have scales as hard as their much more dangerous and bigger cousins, such as Alligators and Crocodiles, so the prospect of a much easier prey to catch and farm those precious hardened scales was enticing.
After her experience with the alchemist, she decided to cover as much of her scales as possible using the alchemist spare attire, but due to living in the swamp, those became eroded very quickly.
Other side effects of her consuming the alchemist were an increase in strength and appetite, thus, thanks to her scales, poachers became a very common meal for her. She tries to avoid other scaled individuals, due to her digestive system not being able to digest them properly, but everything else is fair game and they come out as smoothly as when they go down her throat.
Thalia now lives deep in a swamp area, trying to live peacefully as a big fish among other big fishes, but when your life is that valuable, true peace is often our of reach.
