(The following short story is a spin-off in the Night Shift story setting. Though really, it's just a silly idea I had. So enjoy!)

Authors note:

I will admit I did rush this as I feel like having this delay too long would spoil the story as it is Independence Day themed.

I do apologize for that. Going forwards for holiday stuff, I'll keep it small and simple or plan for them ahead of time going forwards.
