I like to think that it's unclear about if he's only teasing or if he's genuily trying to help him the most 'Derek" way possible.

Btw, Derek's "crush" (sry I still can't get over that joke lol) is named Gabriel and he's literally the only person that doesn't have to be worried about ending up on Derek's plate (but is completely unaware of this "privilege").
Gabriel just thinks that Derek chosed him as his favorite victim while Derek just wanna try to get to know him but hella struggle since he only knows how to be intimidating.


Hope you don't mind having more storytelling stuff ! I find it really funny to take some cliché relationship tropes and then add some vorish sparkles on it.
