The seas of Mundus are home to many strange & wonderous lifeforms. There's the graceful Genkul, gelatinous, translucent creatures that often sunbathe upon the sea's surface and travel in herds of hundreds. Every year, they migrate from the frigid waters of Zemlya Volk to the tip of the Barbed Wilds, where they feed on cuttlefish, squid, and salmon. There's the reclusive Palri, long, slender fish that scour the darkest depths of the seas for scrapes and whale falls. Although Palri are born blind, they shimmer with a radiant bioluminescence that they'll never see. And there's the terrible Typhon, massive sea-beasts that capsize boats and terrify sailors. Extremely territorial, Typhon are known to ravage coastal towns that are built upon their mating grounds and will slaughter anything they deem a threat.
No ocean creature, however, is quite as fiercely intelligent and voracious as the Spawn. Spanning every sea across the map, the Spawn are an ancient people, having constructed underwater cities and invented mathematics in the days when mankind was still figuring out fire. Most Spawn hunt whales and smaller animals, and while Typhons terrorize them as much as they do humanity, Spawn are better adapted at evading such monsters, namely by plunging to depths where no Typhon can reach or traveling upon land where Typhons will collapse beneath their own weight. The latter is possible with the Spawn's lungs, which are adapted from air bladders, and while they can still dry out and die on land, Spawn can survive on shore for hours and talk as clearly as humans.
Interestingly, the Spawn share traits with other fish species. Many theories abound how this is possible, such as being direct descendants or adapting to the same environments as their non-sapient counterparts, but no clear answer is currently known. Regardless, there are as many Spawn variants of fish species, such as Shark Spawn, Eel Spawn, Catfish Spawn, and Sargassum Spawn.
That's where Sarga comes in. Among her kind, Sarga is the greatest Sargassum Spawn ever born; other Sargassum Spawn reach only 8 inches in length, while Sarga is a whopping 24 feet long. Capable of overpowering Shark Spawn and devouring whales in a single gulp, Sarga established her dominion over her kinsmen over twenty years ago. This earned her the title "Queen of the Sargassum," and the circlet she wears is proof of her royalty. As if her bountiful bust didn't command just as much respect!
Sadly, Sarga's dominion doesn't extend to other Spawn; she can't get the city of Prak to bow down, nor random Rabbitfish to worship her. Sarga is mind-bogglingly immense compared to other Sargassum Spawn and large next to an average Spawn, but that alone doesn't prove anything. That's why, to protect the Sargassum from fishermen and meddling governments, Sarga pledged allegiance to the Green Gill Gang, the most powerful and influential Spawn mafia in the seas. In exchange for granting GGG members sanctuary in the Sargassum Kelp Forest where she lives, Sarga and her people needn't worry about anyone messing with them. It's not an ideal situation, sure, but far better than being lorded over by busybodies.
And, of course, Sarga won't hesitate to defend the kingdom herself. How else did she develop such a bottomless appetite and behemoth breasts? None are safe from Sarga when she gets a hold of them! Worse, Sarga delights in tormenting her prey before taking the final bite. Beware the Queen's wrath, lest you wish to sleep with the fishes!

Sarga is just short for sargassum, which is a species of seaweed. While it’s common in temperate & tropical waters and can come in small clumps, sargassum is also known to form whole forests of kelp and host an entire ecosystem of sea creatures.
