They've been competing over who can eat the most, and the guy with the lowest Prey count has to be consumed by the winner. Of course, until there's only one helplessly immobile boy left.

So far, dude in the foreground is winning. But after several rounds of intense gorging, he's still processing the loser, whose immense belly fat makes digestion a little slower.

Take note of how their belly fat grows and sags around their overstuffed stomachs.
