Formerly a Mercenary, Lumen is the current captain of the esteemed moon guard that operates under the rule of the leader of the moonlit folk, the moon lord. Originally hailing from a village on the silver desert, he was exiled at a young age due to slander spread by a rival family, leaving him with no other option that to take up the mantle of Mercenary to survive. At a very young age, Lumen showed great skill in hand-to-hand combat, quickly placing him as a mercenary of great renown and making his services most desirable. Yet this glory would be short lived as he would one day be backstabbed by one of his contractors, who wanted him off the map. He was ambushed and left for dead on a forest near the region of the Moonlit folk, who found him at deaths door and decided to take him in.

Since then, Lumen dedicated himself in body and soul to the protection of the Moonlit region and his people, going so far as to form a pact with the moonlord, bounding him forever to his services, but granting him extraordinary skills. As part of the Moonlit folk, Lumen adopted the philosophy of the Waxing moon, which defends the values of freedom and new beginnings, marking his rebirth from an exiled mercenary, into one of the moonlord's closest servants.

Lumen, even among the moonlit folk, is known for his large appetite, always returning from missions with a full stomach and often organizing feasts for his guard after succesful quests, that, much to the moonlord's dismay, often leaves his soldiers unable to move around a lot.
