Don't worry, I was just trying to set the stage a bit with that - establishing some inherent risk to the act that they're both aware of going in. I like to leave things open to interpretation, but I personally never planned on anything fatal for this sequence

You had said you were trying to test your anatomy skills with this. And while I'm not a pro when it comes to anatomy, to my eye this looks great! <3 I just love how you managed to make the prey's pose visible in the pred's stomach with your use of lighting and shading. It all feels very realistic, excepting that whole "stretching your body to impossible degrees in order to swallow a full size person" bit. :-D

Wow, just...WOW. So good. The whole series of images is amazing. Love your work, and man do i wish i was there to hear her steady swallows, watch her throat and belly stretch and strain with swallowing down another human whole, maybe feel her belly as her prey gets forced around into a ball once she is fully sealed inside. just....mmmrrrr...This little snek loves it and cant wait to see more of what you come up with.

A slight issue, it doesn't entirely feel like the prey is inside the pred, like her stomach is a bag on her lap rather than being her stomach. It might be better if the area of skin that stretches out is larger, like in panel 8 or even 7, also allow her ribs to stretch slightly forward.

Either way though this is the gold standard for swallowing sequences, really well done, I loke the expressions too.
