“...And that's the weather. Enjoy the summer sun and the open spaces everyone; Back to the studio!” Said the cheery weatherman before the feed cuts to a woman with an even wider smile.

“Thanks Brent! Now we’re going to move on to our brand new reporter in the field who has an interesting encounter to tell us about from the Lower Frisian bay area. Are you with us Susan?”

Image cuts to a blond nervous girl with a finger to her earbudded ear.
“Hello? Hello! Yes, Susan reporting here from the Frisian bay. We were interviewing tourists and vacationers here for the summer show, when we were treated to our own show down by the water. If you look here behind me, yes, see there!”

The image pans and focuses on the turquoise waters of the bay, before finding a black fin and a dark shape speeding through it. Suddenly it breaches the water, revealing the black and white body of an Orca.

“Ooooh! Look, yes! This “Killer-whale” or Orca as they’re called, has been swimming around and playing in the bay for the last hour or so, drawing quite some crowds and some bold swimmers.”

The camera pans past a couple of young guys swimming as fast as they can to try to catch up to the Orca, but she seems to just be swimming circles around them.

“Authorities have warned people not to get close, but it is clear by now this ‘female’ orca is only playing. It's even come close to the pier and boardwalks and squeaked and chattered away at people. It’s quite fascinating. There are talks it might be an escaped trained whale from somewhere.”

The image cuts briefly back to the woman in the studio.

“That is quite a treat for people in the Frisian area. Have you been able to get a closer look yourself Susan? Perhaps the whale is up for an interview?” She joked with a laugh.

“I have gotten close a few times! I can try again! But I am afraid I'm no mermaid, I don’t speak whale, haha!” Susan tittered.

“Well, we’ll come back to check up on you for that later. For now, let’s now talk to Brandon about the sports…”

—--

Yamie chattered and squealed happily. Crowds of people stood on the jetty to watch her splash and wave her fins. The floating wooden platforms were already starting to sag low in the water.
People were swimming around her too, trying to touch and grab her, thinking she was some kind of plaything. She let a few of them close, but swam away before too many crowded her.
She’d let them in very close soon enough! It was almost time, her tummy was already gnawing at her eagerly. Patience, patience!

A human with interesting fancy blue clothes was splashing and waving at her from the edge of the jetty. It must be some kind of important human, because the other ones were giving them a lot of space. Intrigued, Yamie swam closer to have a look at them.

“Oh look, she’s coming closer! Are we live? But we are we rolling? Good good!” Susan cleared her throat and then laughed, reaching out her microphone toward the water. But she almost had to stagger back as the Orca reared a big head out of the water right next to her, almost leaning in against the precariously wobbling jetty.

“Whoa! Here we are with our local star, a female Orca yet unnamed.” She began with a cheery attitude, adding her best professionalism. This would make for good TV!
“Would you tell us, dear guest, what brings you to Frisian bay?”

The Orca seemed most curious with her and the camera behind her. They squeaked in a high pitched squeal and then warbled a noise, opening and closing that big toothy mouth of theirs. Almost as if imitating her.

“Oh, is that so?” Susan pretended to understand politely, though being this close to the big Orca was making her nervous now. “Well, you heard it here folks. Miss Orca here is inviting everyone for a good time!”

-Squeal-Squeaaaak-click-click-gruuurrr- Went the Orca and everyone stared. It was really almost like it was talking. How strange!
It dipped down into the water, disappearing under the surface. Making a few people groan in disappointment.
Then suddenly it exploded back out of the water and forward, landing on the jetty. People went flying!
On the shaky recording, the camera gets wet for a second, but then through it all, there’s Susan again, or rather there’s her legs. They’re sticking out of the jaws of the Orca, kicking for all their worth. Then with a ‘Glunk’ audible to all and a wet ‘Sllrrkk’ they sliiiide down and out of view and into the gullet of the Orca.

“Hey important human! I’m going to eat you first, then all the rest of you tasties are going follow into my stomach!” Yamie chattered boldly at the audience of humans watching her from the overburdened jetty.
The important human leaned forward toward her, as if attentive to her every word. Did they understand? It didn’t really matter to Yamie, it was fun to taunt the stupid tasty humans right in their faces though!
The important human made noises at her in return.

“Ye ye, going to cram you aaaall down! I can’t wait to digest you, heck… why wait! Stay right there.”

Yamie dipped down, her stomach was grooowling in anticipation. Oh she just had to eat them right away! There were enough of them gathered now, enough to fill her up nice and taut!

She surged forward and flopped on the platform with her weight, the important human caught in her mouth. She savoured gulping them down for a second, the way the body slid down her neck and squeezed into her belly. One down, a loooot more to go!
The humans watched stupidly, too shocked to realise they were all her prey.
She cackled and kicked her tail jostling more of her weight onto the jetty, making it tip in her direction and sending all those humans on it cartwheeling and rolling toward her gaping waiting maw.

“We are now returning to our reporter Susan, who we’re told has managed to arrange an interview with a local star, a whale, at Frisia bay! How is it going over there Susan?”

The image feed cuts to the camera broadcasting live at the scene.
It’s one of shouts and shaking turmoil. The cameraman is stumbling and there’s a mix of wooden walkway, splash of water, arms and legs and then what looks like a closeup of an Orca with a maw full of grasping flailing limbs.

The Orca tilts her head back and ‘ULPS’ visibly, tongue working and jaws pushing down to swallow a vanishing tangle of humans down in one large squirming mass. Their cries go muffled and distant as they are sucked down the pink abyss of her ballooning gullet with a flick of head and gulp.
There’s a loud squeal of joy, a big fluked tail splashes again and the camera man seems to stumble once more, that gaping and now empty maw suddenly coming in for an extreme closeup.
The lens is squished against a tongue, there’s a view of some teeth and gums, there’s wet squelching and smacking along with yelps and cries for help.
The sound grows muffled and the view darkens into a ‘Grrmphh-ggllrrrk-ssllllrrrkkkk - Mmphmmhphmmmp!’

“Uuuuh… S-susan?” The woman at the studio looks at the camera, brow furrowed. Not sure what she’s seeing or how to respond to it. “We… appear to have some connection issues with the bay. Can you hear me Susan?”

The image cuts back to the feed from the camera, some kind of lights illuminating pulsing pink fleshy walls. The camera shakes suddenly and there’s someone shouting. Suddenly Susan is in view, her hair all matted down and eyes wide, staring into the camera.

“H-hello!? Help…! Oh god…. It ate us! It swallowed us…! Aanh.. oohh”
The view shakes around and there’s a deep guttural wet ‘Glllrrrrrrbbllll’.

“Get us out of here…! Help….!”
There’s briefly a view of faces looking toward the light and of hands pushing against stomach walls. Then suddenly more humans push in, the camera shakes and the feed is cut in the studio.

“Uhm….” The lady hosting the morning show tried to smile but just ended up blinking. “We’ll.. Be right back after the commercial….”

—------

Having tipped the platform and sent the crowd tumbling toward her, Yamie had achieved swallowing down four separate mouthfuls of humans just by opening her mouth wiiiide and catching as many as she could fit inside.
She had to struggle a little to hastily squeeze each huge mass of meals all down her throat, to press that rolling bulge of humans down past her chest and into her swelling belly before gaping for the next mass of humans squirming against her snout. It was bliss!
She didn’t even notice she had gulped down humans carrying weird indigestibles, it all went down.

“Ongh.. yeah… patience my tasties, I’ll digest you soon.”

She mused and stuck her tongue out, belching softly and cooing at feeling them squirm inside her. Her stomach was rounded out well, but she was not done eating yet.
There were no more humans on the submerged platform. The rest had fallen past her into the water or jumped in. They thought they’d escape her there, in the water! What tasty idiots humans were!
Most were crowding around ladders to try climb back on some intact section of the floating walkways. But they were getting in each other's way, dragging those who managed to climb back down.
She wriggled herself back into the water with a gleeful squeal.

“Where are you going!? You all have a date with my belly! Come be my blubber!”

She dove down underwater and watched all those kicking legs swimming and crowding the surface above her. She hummed happily, nibbling at the feet.

“Ooh, what a nice harvest we have today, gyeheh!”

Yamie started picking at them, grabbing on foot and then another with her mouth gently. Like a girl picking flowers. Edible squirmy flowers.
Once she had a mouthful of tasty legs she yanked them down and chomped forward, starting to gulp them down feet first.

“Numm numm…!” She giggled, rubbing her tongue against the 4 or so humans in her maw before gulping and slurping, their heads and arms now flailing briefly from the back of her maw like a sea anemone before -Ulp!-
The bulge of them has even squelched and rolled down her neck and chest to widen her belly, she’s plucking a new batch of feet to yank down and swallow.

There’s just so many of them! Oh! She’s going to have such a tummy ache!

—--

“Any contact with Susans crew down at Frisia yet?” A stern faced man lingered in the doorway of the technical studio. Screens were showing ads playing.

“Well… the connection got cut for a while, it’s like the latency is bad.” A technician replied.

“What were they thinking!? Playing some kind of stupid prank on their first field-report, don’t they know we’re live here!? We’re a family morning show god damnit!” The man growled.

“There’s a connection now, uh… no visual, just audio.” The technician alerted. Without prompting, he put the feed on onto the speakers.

-’Gwuuuooorrgl-bllrrrrggllll-Gruuuuunnnnnooorrrhh-gllrblrblrgl’- Came the wet gurgling noises from the speakers before they were turned off.

“Must be something wrong with the connection still.” The technician scratched his head.

“Bah! Let me know as soon as they’re back. I am going to give that newbie an earful!”

—-

Yamie lounged in the water, just letting the current float her where it took her. She was stuffed! She’d eaten everyone she could get her greedy jaws on, she couldn’t be sure, but it seemed she had caught them all, just as she had promised.

She slapped at her belly with her pecs and groaned.
“Oouhh, you’re all Yamies now. Mmm, you’re digesting sooooo goood in there, good little humans. Welcome to my body, heheee!”

She teased on lazily, listening to her stomach blorrrrble and churn away at the huge amount of human meat inside. They had been packed in there so tight they couldn’t struggle much. But gosh had they yelled and moaned.

She belched again, bubbles and random objects of possessions spilling out from her maw.
Only one being noisy and complaining now was her stomach.
It chided her overeating with a low ‘grruuuuuooorrgh’.

“Yea yea…. Huff… I know, I know… “ She swam down and squished her belly against the rocky bottom of the bay, kneading her gut around to help digestion along.

“Mmmhm, you’re making Yamie such a big fat girl… -hiccup-”

Her stomach placated from a few moments of helpful kneading she went back to enjoying feeling all those meals slowly churn and become part of her.
She giggled and crooned as slowly over the course of the rest of the day her belly grew smoother and smaller and the rest of her softer.
Tail plumpening and swelling with soft fat, the curves around her large middle gained a rounded width to them, as what had been a bay full of humans were transformed into compact warm blubber under her sleek skin.
She felt so warm and pleased, the afterglow of having absorbed countless humans onto herself was almost as good as the eating of them was.

She felt something rattle around her stomach though. Something her body could not digest.
Feeling polite she returned lazily to the bay, she might as well leave a memento.

—---------

In the technical studio, two technicians perk as a light starts flashing.

“We have a connection, the picture is back!”

“Put it on, let me see.”

“How do I put it on the screen? Green.. er…Blue button?”

“Ye ye.”

The image came on. What looked like rows of teeth and a view just above water, the camera was in the mouth of something.
Then it was ejected onto dry ground and the camera filmed what was an Orca looking back into the screen. She stuck her tongue out and then rolled in the water contentedly to show off a huge fat belly.
Her pectorals slapped at the white gut a few times before she dove down slowly, leaving just the underside of the plump tail and the flukes in view for a while, as if waving goodbye. Then she was gone.

“That was weird.”

“Hey you pressed the Green button right?”

“No… Blue.”

“Oh damn, that went out live.”
