It was not that Sarah McAllister didn't like her little sister. Far from it – Emma was as sweet and cheerful as sisters came, and Sarah was usually glad to have her around. Sometimes, however, Emma seemed determined to make Sarah drop-kick her through the nearest window. That moment was fast approaching.
“Don't be embarrassed!” Emma said, trotting happily along beside her. If she was aware of Sarah's fuming temper, she ignored it.
