Whew, this one was a doozy. This was actually supposed to be the finale, but reading through it again, I got second thoughts on where I wanted to go with this story and how I wanted it to end. In fact, I'm still unsure. Does it end with the Hero's heart being claimed, with the two spending a night of lovemaking? Does it end with him escaping, and reuniting with the rest of his party? Perhaps he maintains his fidelity, and helps those who would seek to claim him see reason? These and many more were all potential endings, and I'm having trouble picking one. Woe is me T.T

Oh well, It'll just have to come down to last second impulse. This was supposed to be a side story anyway. I've become far too attached to this story arc, but by God I will see this one through to the end! Hope ya'll enjoyed the ride as much as I enjoyed writing it!
