Sometimes it's nice to just mess around with different models to create new characters. That's how I come up with most of my ideas, just fiddling with a model until I stumble upon the 'vibe' that inspires animation ideas. Before I did 3d modeling I used to do that in Fallout 4, just spend most of my time making characters. But now I don't have the limits of the Fallout 4 character creation, so ANY idea I have, I can kinda just do it. You guys don't really see it, but a lot of my time most nights I'm not actively animating are spent just fiddling around with models to find an inspiring character.
Aaanyway. The 'seed' of this particular character idea was "Shiny metallic retro space girl." And from there everything was pretty easy. This one ended up super Milfy, which was fun. I need to do more busty Milfs. No tail, weirdly, although she does have dog ears. I find myself including tails less and less, sometimes I'm just not in the mood to deal with them. They're also hard to make look good. One of these days I'm just gonna have to spend the whole day making different tails so I have a library of them ready to go.
No alts of this one yet, I just made these two renders. But maybe sometime soon I'll make a few more of her, maybe with a proper background. I need to work on my Scifi interiors anyway. When I do end up making a set of renders, the best 3 or 4 will go up on Ekas, but the rest of them will go up on my Patreon and Subscribestar. Where you'll also find WiP's, and early access to animations, as well as a Discord role. Which what people REALLY want, I'm sure.

The first paragraph of that description is exactly why I want to learn blender so badly, but god it's so hard.. 2D artists don't realize how fortunate they are to be able to just make any visualization they have a reality.

As someone who’s done both, I’ll say that 2d is a lot harder for me at least. And you can only draw something one time, with 3d you can reuse a model as much as you want once you make it.

Well of course, they both have their upsides, I'm not saying they have it completely easier than us. But that one aspect of it really can't be understated.

Maybe I'm just better at 3d than 2d
