Mirellia quickly put an end to the discussion before it devolved into an argument, decreeing that she would look after Naofumi until a fix to his problem is found. Going along with her, Noafumi only had to wonder which motivated her actions more, her not-so-hidden political agendas to capitalize on his status as the Shield Hero, or her blatant favoritism towards him as an ally.

When then, thanks to having the foresight to post the polls a bit earlier than usual, this time I wasn't rushing like a chicken with my head cut off to get this out lol
