The great dragon Qega has plans involving owning a house in civilization. He has a good lead, but how will it go when he meets the previous keepers?
This story is in continuity with one of my other series, elaborating on implications in "LQC: Resting". But don't worry, everyone participating in this one are consenting(?) adults.
I had considered an alternate ending when I thought this might come out before the Lexa's Quest subseries was over. In that case, the last scene was Qega practicing his stonecarving instead, with Russet still picking up on the implications.

What a gentleman. How affable. It's fun to read about civilized dragons - civilized insofar as preds can be inside vore settings.

Qega thinks civilization is a neat idea, but knows he's not going to hold up to rising standards of behavior and wants to make sure his children turn out better than he did.
