Back when Sachiko first met Haruki and Mama Harvester, she originally thought her boyfriend was an only child with a sibling on the way. Everyone would make that mistake, since when meeting Mama Harvester, she would have a massive round belly. Of course, she would learn about Kame when she was given Mama's blessing to date her son.

Fast forward a couple months later, Sachiko was getting curious about Kame. She's never met him but would always hear about him often when seeing Mama Harvester and her very round belly. Sachi would ask her future mother-in-law if she could feel her belly and get to know more about Kame. Granted, in retrospect, it's not wise to tempt a voracious kitsune.
