Don't worry: Belinda only ate a Mall Santa, not the real deal. The actor refused to let Degenerate children sit on his lap, including Ria, Belinda's adoptive little sister. After an argument that ignited her anxiety problems (and hunger), Belinda wolved the actor down.
To avoid having charges pressed against her by the mall staff, Belinda agreed to take up the jolly red elf's mantle. Hundreds of children sat her lap that day, some nice, some naughty, but nobody expected 'Santa' to be a 7'6" snake woman. They still asked for gifts, but their words were always tinged with doubt. No way could this Scaly Brood be the real Santa Claus... maybe she's a helper sent from the North Pole? An extra tall, scaly, and gurgly elf? It took all day to digest the original actor, even if the round belly like a bowl full of jelly added to the act.
Such treatment made Belinda feel like an imposter. A fake. The naughtiest woman who didn't deserve any presents. Obviously, Belinda is too old to believe in Santa, but the spirit still stands. By the end of the day, her holiday cheer was almost dead...
... so when the Santa hat fell on her head, Belinda felt a tinge of hope. Perhaps this was the sign? She did make a bunch of kids happy. They talked to 'Santa,' shared their feelings, talked about their hobbies, school, and their insecurities. Even poor, underprivileged kids like Ria got a chance to sit on her lap. Heck, that rat girl's eyes lit up when she saw Santa could be a Degenerate, just like her. That... that felt nice, giving the next generation reason to hope, to aspire, to become Santa Claus' in their own lives.
Maybe Belinda wasn't the best Santa Claus in the world, but if she could make a single girl grin, then that was enough. Enough reason for Belinda to smile herself.

Rough animation/art. But it's the thought that counts ^^

That’s my thinking. The rough quality speaks to the innocent earnestness of the artist. Imagine if Ria, who is around 12 years old, drew this for her big sister? The passion, the affection to put a smile on Belinda is too pure to dismiss out of hand. So how could I not respond in kind?
