It's fair play. If you know the story, there are 2 possible endings there. One ending is that Bridget gains the confidence to not listen to what his town thinks, or what anyone else thinks and just living his life out as a boy because screw those "bad omen of two brothers" hoo-haas. The other ending is just basically her going "I've been playing a girl this whole time, so who's saying i'm not one?". Pick your favorite, as they will eventually just stir it up in the next game and cause more discourse for attention. I, personally, approve of both possibilities, because why not?

I can def see that interpretation, but I do personally see Bridget's quest at ridding the bad omen rumors ending when she ended up becoming a famous bounty hunter, and that she decided that after bounty hunting as a man that she wished to go back to living as a girl. Appreciate the openness though! I'm used to seeing much more unreasonable arguments haha

Interesting, I have never heard of that.
I have only heard people screaming one side of the story.
I always thought it was the first one because of how it was the inciting incident and the resolution.

Bridget was one of the reasons I got into guilty gear in X2 due to his fourth attack being an active ability button. This did make their attacks weaker in X2. However in Strive they have their fourth attack, putting their attack power in line with other characters.

Regardless of either choice the directors do for the cannon timeline it will be interesting.

Sorry, thou I'm not sure what you mean by 2 possible endings. Looking at Strive, the phrasing, and the devs saying what the different endings are, it pretty much points to Bricks being a girl.

Also, people keep saying "they did it to stir things up", I believe one of the reasons Bucket became trans is so they'd have a reason to keep Bracket's female appearance.
