I was gonna ask on the previous pic but this seems to answer that question.
So, they just have some kind of Somebody Else's Problem Field style effect, they can't be easily noticed and presumably anyone they interact with falls under this effect as well? They can just nab someone in public and by the time anyone realizes what's happened they'll just consider them having vanished when they weren't paying attention?

By the expression in the gut earlier, it seems at least like once you're inside you're aware. Though imagine if you weren't?
Just sitting at a bus stop one second and then the next you don't know *where* you are, somehow simultaneously noticing you can't see anything of your surroundings like EVERYTHING around you is one big blind spot, but also somehow mentally coerced into not really caring about it?
Not even noticing you're melting in seconds flat...
