The worm got a really nice meal. Since it ate her feet first, it was less likely to scrape its insides with her horns. She will take awhile to digest.

These particular worms will take up to a week to digest their prey. The fangs on their mouths sometimes prevent them from sealing perfectly, and the victim can breathe and survive for hours before they finally expire. Generally, they burrow back into the mud, far away from any rescue.

I really like slow digestion, and when the prey can breathe inside the stomach.
