The master acquired a new death worm from a necromancer and wanted to test it out, and used his newest slave to see how well it followed commands. It performed splendidly and gave him quite a show.

That would be a nice show. Since it is eating her feet first that means she will have air for longer while it swallows her, and if air gets into the worm's stomach, she will have an easier time breathing it. That means her struggles will last longer.
