I debated posting this, in the case it causes any drama,
but I figured I needed to to make any clarifications, because this is something that has been on my mind for this entire month.

Aunt Mallow, in design only. Is very loosely based on the image on the left.
The image on the left is an adopt made by WhoKilledKaiEXE on Twitter.
I was going to buy this adopt for 80$, and when I went, I found out they were bought under my nose.
Quickly I snooped and found the owner, and offered to buy them.
They declined but said they were alright with me basing my own character off of the design.

Link: You can see from her earliest design, she looked similar, mostly wearing a very similar outfit, but she herself was already very very different. I actually even went through the work of creating a nude reference which showed her without clothes. Details I had to actually imagine myself, because the original didn't have those details visible.

Despite the glaring differences, the owner of the original adopt, having seem my character take off, decided to take back that they allowed me to make an offshoot of the design, and chose to say that every single detail on Aunt Mallow was a carbon copy of Merideth Fox.

Character design takes time. I have been working on Aunt Mallow from that first image, for eight months.
The first image of Aunt Mallow was made eight months ago, and in that time, I have gradually changed her to be as removed from Merideth's design as possible.
In that same time, the owner of the adopt had continued to sit on the design, beg for free art, and enter the adopt into raffles.
The only time you would see this character was coupled with the phrase "thank you for this opportunity."
They had this same, one, single, reference image. And zero developed character.

Despite they themself pointing out the glaring differences, and still coming to the conclusion that somehow Aunt Mallow is exactly identical to Merideth Fox.
(since when is pointing out differences an indicator of something being the same?)
Over the last month, the owner of the adopt has threatened to mass report my FA here, and I wouldn't put it past them for being responsible for botting my Twitter to get is suspended.
They admitted to being responsible for telling the original artist that I cloned their character to get me blacklisted
DESPITE THEM TELLING ME IT WAS OKAY TO MAKE MY OWN CHARACTER BASED ON THE DESIGN
I can only imagine they only told them, and never showed them,
because anyone would be able to see how the only thing similar between them is they are both foxes, and have huge breasts, and at ONE point had a similar outfit.

You know. Considering how I've seen so many people saying that Palworld is a carbon copy of Pokémon
I can easily see how someone could possibly exists to not be able to see the clear differences in clearly two completely different characters.

Especially when one is only a picture that has been sat on for eight months, and the other has been in development the entire same span of time.

Back on track...

Annoyed that this person has been messaging me like this for the last month,
After I actually made a comparison sheet addressing every single detail they said I copied, LINK
(Including details that were impossible to copy, because these details literally didn't exist on their reference,)

SO, I decided to just put a stop to this and put a stop to this the only way I know how.

By actually just drawing the character.

And because the picture is literally just one single picture and nothing else
I went ahead and just made said drawing a complete reference, just like the other references I make for my own characters.

Using the one single picture that existed of the character, I did my best to draw out the character, exactly as I saw them, as Kai originally designed.
While fabricating new details that didn't exist for this character until I made them here in this reference.

Not for free, but:

1. So this person has an actual reference for this character, and not just one single picture.

2. So literally anyone being told these characters are the same, can actually have an open reference to show that they are, in fact, completely different characters, where the only similarities that exist, are that they are both foxes, with massive breasts.

Literally anyone who puts these characters side by side will be able to see the differences, and we can stop this silly drama over thinking I made a carbon copy of this character.
