I wanted to start a drawing for escapism reasons so that I could be distracted from some RL stuff, so I looked to some outside sources.
It was delayed by the things and people I wanted to be distracted from, the horrible and vile month of hell which is December, and the scheduled power outages we have.
Started as a random idea wanting to experiment with things and later elements popped up as the concept evolved.

Rezumat (the grey large snake) challenges his patron goddess, Nefret, to an eating competition with fellow acolyte, Gladiola, acting as score keeper and mediator.
The chosen delectable delights for the competition: kitsunes. Difficult to catch and pin down as they are rare.
Nefret with her malleable rubbery-like figure and prowess to manipulate it at will shapeshifts trounces her servant at his own game.
