I felt weird about not uploading any fiction in a while, and while working on other stuff I noticed a draft for an alternate ending for the Gate Guardian fic. I thought about doing just the ending as a separate upload but imo it reads better with the rest of the story there.
The thumbnail is the Duelist of the Roses art for "Gate Guardian Ritual" with the colors inverted. I might replace it with something else eventually but idk.

Unmodded or the balance patch? I really like DoTR's core dueling systems but the structure/progression is really rough imo.

Unmodded, I unpacked my PS2 and realized I never beat both campaigns so wanted to do that first. Now I am thinking about trying hacks/patches.
