A suggestion by @Mechdragon1k !
Apparently, there are ladybugs that will eat other ladybugs! Typically that means eating the eggs or larva of their own species, but there are records of ladybugs eating other adult ladybugs- particularly within the Harlequin Ladybug species! So here is a cute harlequin boy taking his opportunity to catch another ladybug off guard and have him for lunch~ And with that, another aphid gets to live another day~

This is cute, so cute. Hope that aphid is best at belly rubs. Maybe they will help other aphids by using themselves as bait.

Thank you!! I’m glad you think so ^^ but I definitely imagine the two of them will go on to lure other nasty ladybugs into being lunch~

They’re just little guys in a big world… as much as I like scenarios where the prey’s distress isn’t taken very seriously, I do still love more fluffy dynamics with a would-be pred protecting a would-be prey ^^
