Moreau’s Reservoir, Eastern Europe

A helicopter steadily took off, filling the ambient air with the sounds of its spinning rotors, said sounds fading as the vehicle was leaving the area after having dropped three peculiar passengers.

“They’re leaving.” one of the passengers declared as they witnessed the helicopter gradually vanishing from view, putting the binoculars down and turning to the other two, who turned out to be women.
As a matter of fact, those passengers formed an all-female trio after being assigned to a specific mission that led them to this remote, secluded valley located in the Carpathian mountain range.

The first of said women, the one putting the binoculars into a leathery black backpack, was Yoko Suzuki, a Japanese-American woman who used to work for two years for the nefarious company known as Umbrella Corporation and survived the infamous Raccoon City Incident.
If her early adulthood was relatively rough as a result, it became clear the experience helped her grow into a hardened woman as she went through such a training program, by the time she first went to investigate on another site belonging to Umbrella, she was vastly different from when she first integrated the corporation as an intern.
No longer a cowardly scaredy-cat, Yoko gained her fair share of self-esteem, especially taking pride in her skills around technology and her pragmatic abilities, which only have been sharpening for twenty-three years.
Physically speaking, a much more piercing gaze radiated from her dark brown eyes while her similarly-colored hair stopped at shoulder length, as it always had, for she kept the habit of cutting them, given she never really liked having long hair, deeming it impractical for field missions.
Overall, the years of consistent training granted her a more athletic frame, which was concealed in an outfit not so dissimilar from what she wore two decades earlier, an outfit that now consisted of black training boots, black pants, a black shirt beneath a dark green vest.

Most striking part about her was the fact she now carried a M16A4 rifle, of which she never let go since she enlisted as a Special Operation Agent of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance.
As a matter of fact, remembering her unpleasant experience with the creatures rampaging through Raccoon City, the woman was no longer keen on being the weaponless damsel other people had to protect, most often at the cost of their lives.

Facing her was the second woman, a striking forty-seven-years old brunette, easily recognizable thanks to the side part-layered bob cut ornamenting her head and her grayish blue eyes, who used to work in the Raccoon Police Department, more specifically in the Special Tactics And Rescue Service unit, and went by the name of Jill Valentine.
Just like her younger colleague, Jill currently worked for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance as a Special Operation Agent, operating in many parts of the world to shut down Umbrella Corporation’s nefarious plans ever since the 1998 outbreak.
If Yoko opted to use a rifle, Jill stuck with her habit of carrying lighter weapons such as her loyal G19 handgun, of which she barely ever let go in the last two decades, although she had proven to adapt rather well to wielding heavier artillery on more than one occasion.
If she wasn't using her G19, she would use a special handmade handgun gifted to her by her former friend, Kendo, which was a modified Beretta M92F she used during her time as a former S.T.A.R.S simply called a Samurai Edge. Sure, it didn't have the fire rate compared to her G19, but what made up for the lack of speed was accuracy and power as a few bullets were powerful enough to blow the head off any unlucky victim caught within the range of its barrel.

However, if the context called for it, Jill Valentine wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty as she had her trusty knife that she possessed since the beginning. A long, deadly Military Knife gifted to her by her closest friend, Chris Redfield, which had an edge that could cut through nearly anything and a tool that Jill couldn't deny had gotten her out of some hairy predicaments.
However, out of these three, it was perhaps the third member of the trio who had the most…unique background to say the least who simply went by the name of Ada Wong.

She was a much older woman compared to her companions who wore perhaps the most out of place outfit, which consisted of a burgundy, long-sleeved turtleneck dress that didn't seem to hide the rather generous chest that the Chinese woman was gifted with, a pair of black pantyhose covered with thigh-high boots with high heels that would certainly hurt with a well-placed blow, while a strap on her right thigh held her holster that held a modified handgun she had with her since her time during the events at Spain which was a deadly and precise Handgun known as the Punisher. It was a weapon made for nearly all encounters and power that was arguably the deadliest addition to her arsenal since it was able to pierce through multiple targets with one bullet, not to mention it was able to hold a surprising amount of ammo with each clip.
However, the most unique item that Ada held in her arsenal and what was her main tool for traversing up through high areas was a high-tech Grapple Hook gun that had been gifted to her during her time as a former agent of the pharmaceutical company known as Umbrella. If there was ever a tight spot that the enigmatic Chinese agent found herself within, she was always able to count on her Grapple Hook to get her out of it with ease. Though that isn't it to say she wasn't afraid to get into close encounters as the woman was quite gifted in multiple styles of Martial arts, some she even learned from a…certain man in her life in whom she took an interest to some degree.

Needless to say, this trio all had one thing in common and that was they all had experienced the hellish nightmares within the former city of Raccoon City and came out to live the tale. Which seemed like a good enough reason for these three to be tasked with this mission located within Eastern Europe.

Being the first to speak up, Yoko wanted to get this mission started and done with, “So…what's our plan for this mission?”

Overhearing the former Umbrella Scientist, Jill got to the point as she checked over her G19 one last time, “From what our Intel was able to gather, this valley is apparently home to some big cultist group called the Four Horses and similarly to the former Los Illuminados cult back in Spain, they've been causing quite the commotion, so it's up to us to take care of them.”

Near the two, Ada let out a sigh of slight annoyance as she tugged the neck of her turtleneck dress, “Why am I not surprised? Another no named cult wanting to make big fame and probably take over the world. Honestly, it’s pretty cliche at this point.”

“Well, cliche or not, it's up to us to take care of them,” Jill replied back, before turning to Yoko, “So…what are we dealing with?”

Taking her binoculars out again, Yoko checked the scenery out and let them know of what was up, “Looks…kinda like a fishing area. I see a pretty big lake and some cabins located here and there.”

Seeing the lake, Jill…couldn't help, but get a slight shiver. Why is it always a lake? I'm already expecting there to be a giant shark like before…
As a matter of fact, she reminisced the time she had to go through an aqua ring located beneath the Spencer Mansion and her unpleasant encounter with a trio of mutated great white sharks, with the larger one even going as far as trying to swallow her whole, only owing her salvation to Redfield’s intervention.

Before the former S.T.A.R.S member could speak up, Ada was already on the move, “Well, let's get this over with.”

“Wait-”

*Grapple!*

And just like that…Ada was gone as she had jumped off the cliff they were on and used her Grapple Gun to get moving.

Jill couldn't contain the sigh of annoyance as she held her head within her hand, “Always going on by herself...”

She SERIOUSLY wondered how Leon could handle her attitude like that…, “At least, she’s no chicken, I’ll give her that.”.

Shaking her head in mild exasperation, Jill turned to Yoko and motioned her to follow her lead, “Come on…we better go join her down below.”

Nodding, Yoko followed her lead, the two pulling out a pair of hooks and began to climb down onto solid ground and into the area down below.

—---------

Moreau's Reservoir, Main Area

Landing onto the muddy ground below, Ada proceeded to scan her surroundings immediately, her Punisher in hand and ready to mow down anything in her way.
She did take note that there seemed to quite a lot of reptilian creatures, more so things like frogs and such.

Great…knowing full well, this place might have those damn Hunter Hybrids back from Raccoon City, Ada thought to herself.

She could still recall her previous encounter with those Hunters, remembering how she nearly met her end to one, and had it not been for a knife to stab right into its head from the inside, it would have been game over for her.
It was worse for her since her favorite red dress got torn up in the process, so she had to find a replacement.

Never again was she going to get caught like that…

Though as she looked over the surroundings, the debris of small rocks could be heard behind her and soon joining her was Jill and Yoko who climbed down with their ropes.

Unhooking her rope, the former S.T.A.R.S member walked up behind her as she pulled her G19 out from her holster, “If you're going to head off on your own like that, it would be nice if you gave us a heads up next time.”

Ada just had a sly smirk on her face from the comment, “Maybe next time you shouldn't be so slow~.”

That remark seemed to annoy Jill a little as you could see her eye twitch for a second, but the woman sighed as arguing over something like that would be a waste of time, “Forget it.”

From behind the two women, Yoko was currently un-doing her rope with a bit of trouble since it wasn't often she used a rope to traverse through an area. They sure do get along don’t they?

Though, unfortunately for her, being slightly distracted with the two and their small argument, she failed to notice a rock beginning to move silently beside her that looked quite familiar to a beast that Ada had just thought of.

Getting to business, Ada turned to Jill as she pocketed her Punisher into her holster, “So…where exactly are we heading in this abandoned fisher town?”

“There should be a rather large cabin acting as a base somewhere within this town, so if we're gonna look for it, we'll have to split up,” Jill explained, before turning to Yoko, “Yoko, are you gonna be fine go….”

Jill trailed off as her eyes widened upon seeing something big right behind Yoko who seemed to be oblivious to the danger as she finally undid her rope, “What's up, Jill?”

“BEHIND YOU!” Jill shouted out, quickly aiming her G19.

Yoko only had a moment to look behind her, but her vision was engulfed by a giant gaping maw, her head and shoulders being taken as she was hoisted into the air and screaming in terror!
Quickly reacting, however, the former S.T.A.R.S agent fired off a few shots into the body of the monster, the hits proving to be enough for it to spit Yoko out of its mouth, before finding a knife stabbed right into the bottom of its jaw.

The creature cried out in pain, but one precise shot from Ada into its head took the beast down as it fell onto its back, never to rise again.

Sighing with relief as she pulled her knife out, Jill came over to Yoko and crouched to check on her, “You alright, Yoko?”

Yoko could be seen shivering for a moment, shaken from the experience, but nodded, “Yeah…just…bad memories, that's all.”

She could still remember her encounter with those Hunter Hybrids, recalling how another survivor she knew named Cindy had been swallowed whole by one of those things. Poor woman didn't even have a chance to react considering they were dealing with a group of them back then.

Simply nodding, Jill helped the former scientist back on her feet after that close encounter, “Well…at least we know what to expect from this place.”

Ada, for once, decided to tell her allies what she knew about them, “That thing is called a Gamma Hunter. They're a new type of Hunter that moves and acts like their older brother, the only difference being that they've got a giant mouth that can swallow anything that's smaller than it.”

“They're also very good at swimming, so I wouldn't recommend dealing with them in the water unless you wanna become seafood,” Yoko added, having regained herself now.

Jill sighed with annoyance, more so that she didn't expect to see another version of these Gamma Hunters as Ada called them, “Really? There's two types to deal with now?”

“Two types? What do you mean?” Yoko asked Jill.

The Former S.T.A.R.S member explained, “Back during Raccoon City when I was in the Sewers, the Gamma Hunters that I encountered looked more like fat blobby fish or…something like that.”

Huh…sounds like the prototype versions I remember reading in one of Umbrella's files, Ada thought to herself.
From what she remembered, what they lacked from the finished version was made up for by having a rather ridiculously thick skin that could absorb a number of shots from even a Shotgun, save for the insides of their mouths.

Hearing what Jill said though, Yoko let out a very defeated sigh, “Great, now that you mention these other types, I'm already expecting us to encounter them here.”

However, getting back to business, Ada was already on the move as she used her Grapple Gun to hook up onto a rooftop, landing with grace as she looked down at the others, “Well, no use talking about it now. Let's move forward and get this mission done with.”

Jill just watched on as the female agent soon left, simply shaking her head and explained the plan, “Well, to get back to what I was saying earlier, are you going to be OK splitting up? We need to cover as much ground to find our destination.”

Yoko was…clearly worried about having to go solo for a bit, but…the mission was important to complete and she wasn't backing out now, “Y-Yeah. I'll be alright.”

Nodding, Jill reminded her friend and colleague of their radios, “Remember, if something happens, call us through our Radio and shoot your flare into the air, so we can meet up, alright?”

“Got it,” Yoko quickly replied back.

Smiling at her friend, the former S.T.A.R.S member gave her friend a look that said “Good Luck”, before heading off towards one area of the town and beginning the search.

Signing to herself for a moment, Yoko, both mentally and physically prepared herself as she pulled her M16A4 Assault Rifle from her back and soon headed towards a different part of the area, “Well…here we go.”

Moreau's Reservoir, Eastern District (With Jill)

Some Time had passed since the trio went their own separate ways and the further they had gone into the abandoned fishertown, the more dangerous things got as-

*Gunfire!*

Jill was currently having quite the handful as she fired off her G19 blasted away at a few Gamma Hunters that tried to claim the woman as their meal, only to be met with a flurry of bullets that denied them such a victory.

It was at this point she was very grateful that her G19 had been upgraded since her days in Raccoon City, getting the needed help from both Chris and Barry who were quite the Gun Experts and honestly made her handgun feel almost just as powerful as a Shotgun.
The woman couldn't help, but let out a sly grin as she looked over her weapon, Man…I don't know where I would be if I didn't get this weapon tuned up.

Walking a bit further into her area, the former S.T.A.R.S member eventually found herself in a small opening as a small pond could be seen nearby and not even thinking twice was both her eyes and weapon pointed right at it, already going to the conclusion that something was DEFINITELY lurking within the pond.

Come on…show your face you fucker…, Jill thought to herself, clearly not in the mood to play around.

But….

*Snap!*

Without wasting any time, the trained woman immediately turned around upon hearing a stick snap behind her, knife drawn out, and with a precise aim and defiant cry, she promptly struck, her knife piercing right into the neck of yet another Gamma Hunter!
The beast let out a pained cry from the attack, before Jill tackled it down and fired a few more shots into its face, ending its life in quite a brutal fashion.

“Don't think so, you bastard…,” the BSAA agent sneered, coldly gazing at the dead Gamma Hunter, “Try that again if you da-Whoa!”

She was abruptly cut off as what felt like a fleshly tendril wrapped itself around her feet and suddenly yanked at her, swiftly bringing her down !

“UNF !” She groaned as her body suddenly hit the ground, causing her to be momentarily stunned and allowing the fleshy tongue to drag her across the ground.
Stunned, the woman blinked and painfully groaned as the fall was violent enough to actually cause her vision to be momentarily blurred.

“Uhhhn… My head…” She grunted, bringing one of her hand to her face before she noticed something was off, as if whatever wrapped the fleshy appendage around her feet was reeling her in like a fish caught at the end of a fishing rod, “Wait, what the hell is this ?”

Jill looked down to see what had caught her and was quite surprised to see a giant frog, the size of a small car, was using its tongue to pull her into its awaiting mouth, and it was already pretty close !
Her gut instinct turned out to be reliable, as she could see droplets of water falling off its body, meaning it was indeed hiding within the small pond and must've come out when she was being attacked.

That's just great. First, a giant snake, then a giant shark and now we've got a giant Frog! What's next, a giant squid?! Jill thought to herself in a very annoyed manner.
Honestly, all these giant animals were just pissing her off at this point.

With yet another swift tug, it was able to swallow up her legs in one bite, reaching up to her thighs-

*Stab!*

Before the blade of Jill's knife, which she barely managed to grab in time upon recovery, firmly planted itself into the top of its head, stopping her descent into its gullet and causing the animal to go limp, thus loosening the tongue’s grip on her lower legs and allowing them to move freely, while the amphibian’s broad jaws simply went still.
The woman let out a sigh of relief, slowly starting to push herself out, “Eat that…piece of crap.”

However…to her surprise, as she started to get out…she suddenly felt herself pulled again! Yelping in shock, the brunette looked to see that the giant amphibian was still alive!
The beast was barely clinging to life, but it was not giving up on a meal as it forcefully pulled the former S.T.A.R.S member into its gullet with a couple more bites, the movement causing Jill's arms to be caught within.

However, the primal creature’s own greed would prove to be its downfall, for while it was once again attempting to swallow the BSAA agent whole, it failed to realize she still held a deadly weapon.

“God damn it, just fucking DIE!” Jill angrily yelled out.

*Stab!* *Pierce!*

And in brutal fashion yet again, her knife could be seen stabbing through its head from within its mouth, so violently in fact, the tip of the sharp blade could be seen piercing through the animal’s moist skin.
The huge frog's body briefly spasmed, before its body eventually fell flat onto the ground, finally succumbing to its wounds and joining its other brethren in the afterlife as blood leaked out of its corpse, slowly but steadily surrounding it.

Sighing angrily, Jill crawled and pushed her way out of her attempted predator’s mouth, gagging a little in disgust upon seeing her body and clothes covered in saliva and hemoglobin, “Great…as if one pair of clothes was bad enough for me to burn away….”
Sometimes, she could still smell the nasty sewage smell from Raccoon City despite having burned her clothes after having been evacuated…

Recovering, however, Jill soon stood back up and got back onto her mission, taking a mental note to avoid any body of water or just straight out shoot it down to kill whatever could be hiding within, and last but not least, if the beast lies a bit too still, it was best using her weapon just to ensure it would not spring back into action.
—---------
Moreau’s Reservoir, Western District (With Ada)

Leaving the group and jumping from rooftop to rooftop, Ada was on the hunt in search for the specific building that Jill had mentioned and honestly, she was getting annoyed with how many of the houses looked the same.

Jeez, you'd think for being another cult, they'd have some insignia for being called the Four Horses, Ada thought to herself with slight annoyance and sheer sarcasm.

That alone was clear as day that these guys were nowhere near the level of Los Illuminados. At least they had an insignia to make out their group compared to these knock-offs.

Landing on one more rooftop, Ada let out an annoyed sigh as she crossed her arms under her chest, “This is getting nowhere…maybe I'll have a better look on the ground.”

Changing up her pathing, Ada used her Grapple Gun to slowly lower herself down to solid ground, her heels digging into the mud, beneath her-

*Crash!*

Only for her reaction time to save her as she immediately went flying back up as a Gamma Hunter tried to ambush her upon smelling and hearing Ada's voice above it. Unfortunately for the creature, the woman had a lot of experience under her belt and if the ambush of the Gamma Hunter that attacked Yoko at the start was of any indication, her guard was up at all times.

Quickly landing back down as the monster turned around, attempting to lunge back for Ada-

*Gunfire!*

It was immediately met with at least four to five precise shots to its head, leaning back for a moment, before falling flat on its back as its life was ended just like that.

Grunting smugly, Ada stood back up as one of her hands placed itself on her side, “Nice try. But, not good enough~.”

Getting back to business though, the agent went off to explore the area she landed in, eventually leading her to a big open area that had a rather large cave nearby alongside a big tower and other needed buildings that acted as something akin to a fisher's market.

As always, her guard was up, her gun pointed out and her eyes looking everywhere around her. Especially towards the cave as it was almost clear as day that there was DEFINITELY something within that cave.

Lets see…big cave…town infested with monsters…yeah, no, it's clear as day that there's some big monster inside the cave-

*Growl….*

Which, of course my luck…has to be up when I'm here, Ada thought to herself, rolling her eyes as she took a stance and aimed her Punisher at the cave.

As she expected, loud stomps could be heard echoing within the cave as the growling only got louder and more potent.
It didn't take long for Ada to see her assailant and…once again, had to sigh in annoyance as it was a BIG one.

It was a giant Salamander of sorts, both its size and body way bigger than it had any right to be. Granted it wasn't the size of something like El-Gigante, but it was still big enough to be deemed at least as a mini Giant.
The big beast growled in response to Ada's arrival, its jaw open wide enough to see it salivating and clearly indicating that it was quite hungry.

“Sorry! But, I'm afraid that Casa De La Wong is closed,” Ada told the beast…before silently realizing what she said and shook her head in a cringe manner, Jeez…Leon really is rubbing off on me.

Though her thoughts would quickly be causing her to be caught off guard as the Giant Salamander let out a loud roar, before rushing the woman with incredibly fast speeds!
Ada was quick to react, however, using her Grapple Gun to dodge out of the way as she did a roll and quickly fired multiple shots into the side of its head.

It seemed to do some damage as the beast shook its head slightly as it roared, before using its tail to try and smack Ada with it in response.
But, once again, the woman would dodge with ease as she hooked up onto the rooftops and avoided the tail entirely, landing and continuing her assault, firing off multiple shots from above into its head.

The Giant Salamander growled angrily, rapidly losing patience and it quite literally rushed into the buildings that Ada stood on and completely obliterated them, turning into debris.
Yet again using her Grapple Gun, however, the agent easily got to safety as she landed beside the large tower, looking on with a smug smile as the giant Salamander shook its head, briefly stunned from the desperate maneuver it did.

Standing up, Ada couldn't help herself as she stood up, “Why am I not surprised? Big beasts like you are just so ~ predicat-GLHK!”

The Agent was caught off guard as a slimy tendril suddenly wrapped itself around her neck, from behind her, a giant frog similar to the one that Jill had encountered had attacked.
This one, however, was a bit special compared to its siblings since it knew ahead of time that the giant Salamander was considered one of the Apex Predators of the town, thus decided to help the beast with claiming Ada as its meal.

Thus, the amphibian used its long tongue similar to a noose, pulling Ada back as choked gasps escaped her lips as her back made contact with solid stone that kept the tower behind her up.
Her free hand instinctively went up to the slimy tendril in an attempt to pry it off, but to no avail, all the while she was forced to watch as the Giant Salamander regained itself and upon seeing its meal trapped and stuck in place, was taking full advantage.

Starting off slowly, the Salamander menacingly walked towards the agent, growling excitedly as it wanted to instill fear within her body, simply by letting her be aware that this would soon be her end~.
All the while, rather than being afraid, the femme fatale was yet again annoyed at her predicament, more so by having to keep her composure to save oxygen and energy.

“G-Ganging u-up…o-on o-one…la..dy…I didn't..t-think animals…c-could be…s-such cowards,” Ada spoke up, her tone hoarse and weak, as the surprisingly strong fleshy appendage slightly tightened, mostly pressing up onto her vocal chords.

Of course, lacking the ability to understand human language, the Giant Salamander let out another excited growl, watching as the giant Frog yanked its tongue back and causing Ada to let out another choked sound.
And in that moment did the Giant Salamander seize the chance to attack, roaring out loud and rushing for Ada to claim her as its next meal.

But, unfortunately for both the Salamander and the Frog, they failed to realize exactly WHO they were trying to make their meal.
And Ada would show them why as a grin showed itself, despite being choked out in the moment, “T-Too bad…for y-you…I-I've had…my…share of…unfair moments.”

Ada's plan went into motion as the moment the jaws of the Salamander were inches to biting down onto her body, she showed incredible strength and agility, the pain of being choked giving her an adrenaline rush, jumping and using the top of the Salamander's head as a stepping stone, lightly digging her heels into its skin and causing it to lift its head up and letting out a pained, low-pitched growl, before being launched into the air.
This, in turn, caused the frog's tongue to lose any grip it had which allowed Ada to focus, twisting her body and firing a precise shot from her Punisher, proving its power yet again as the bullet pierced right through its head, sending bits of its brain and portions of skin all around its head and ending its life in seconds!

With the frog's life gone, its tongue loosened itself around Ada's neck as she quickly pulled it off, before quickly aiming her Grapple Gun and getting back to safety, letting out a few coughs as air returned to her.
Though, she quickly turned to the Giant Salamander as it shook its head after making impact with the tower, turning to the woman as it growled angrily, furious that she escaped its jaws again…before noticing a shadow looming over it?

It's final sight was Ada, calmly standing up and a smug smile showing as she pointed upwards as the beast looked behind itself-

*Smash!!!*

Only to be met with a tower falling right on top of it, the impact causing the barriers within to lose their strength and the tall building came tumbling down onto the Giant Salamander.
What followed was a sickening crunch as you could audibly hear its skeleton crushed by the tower, a hoarse growl escaping its lips, before rapidly succumbing to the fatal outcome as it was buried beneath rubble and debris.

Sighing with relief, Ada stood up as she holstered her Punisher, one of her hands going to her neck as her tone sounded sore, “I tried wearing a neck choker once…doesn't really suit my clothing tastes.”

With the beast dead, the agent turned her head to get back onto her mission…until the glow of a red light caught her eye from within the sky.
Turning her head, confused, Ada looked into the sky to see a flare had been shot up, exploding into a large cloud of red dust.

Ada could only shake her head in actual, pure annoyance upon seeing the flare, “Jesus, I swear I'm the only one who can handle themselves…”

Firing her Grapple Gun onto a nearby rooftop, Ada quickly made her way towards the flare as fast as she could to save whichever teammate of hers was in danger.

Oh, if only they knew what was to happen to their ally at that moment…
—----------
Moreau’s Reservoir, Northern District (Earlier With Yoko)

Slowly walking through the empty town, Yoko was…a bit unnerved to say the least as it was very weird to explore a place that was empty of…well, human life considering the constant chaos that ensued back during her experience in Raccoon City.
It just…felt weird not hearing…screams and such of others who weren't prepared to deal with the nightmares that plagued the area.

Why am I feeling worried? I should honestly be grateful for not hearing chaos around me, Yoko thought to herself, trying to stay focused as her boots stepped through the mud beneath her.

Yet, she had EVERY good reason to feel worried. As the district seemed to have been deserted since a certain man came to the valley in an effort to retrieve his daughter not too long ago, she noticed a few birds landing on some ruined rooftops.

However, the most sinister part was… These birds were silent, not a single chirp or croak escaped their beaks, as if there was something lurking in close proximity.
Having some knowledge on the matter, the former Umbrella scientist did not take long to figure, the reason these gloomy birds were so quiet was because of a predator’s presence.

This is not good of a sign at all…, the woman thought, tightening her grip on her rifle, now readying herself to shoot at whatever would boldly make its move on her, already expecting one of those bipedal frog-like freaks to pop up and attack her.
And yet…there seemed to be nothing willing to attack her as the former Umbrella Scientist strode through the town, her eyes darting all around her surroundings for any hint of danger or just…something to at least catch her attention.

Eventually though, something did catch Yoko’s attention as walking out from a small alley-like pathway, she spotted a rather strange looking building before her alongside a pit that, while it didn't look like a seemingly endless pit, looked pretty deep.
The woman couldn't help, but peek down into the pit and saw it was quite deep, but could just barely make out solid ground down below.

Oh boy…I don't even wanna think what could be waiting down below, Yoko thought to herself with a slight shiver.

However…

*Rustle…*

The woman's eyes widened as she quickly turned around, her M16A4 Assault Rifle at the ready upon hearing noises behind her, expecting another of those bloody Gamma Hunters to ambush her.
Though as she looked closely and what made the woman nearly facepalm, the thing that had made noise was simply a pair of rats, squeaking and quickly scurrying away from the area.

A defeated sigh escaped Yoko as she lowered her rifle, “Jesus…rats…really?”
She shook head, already imagining the embarrassment from her allies if they had seen what had just happened.

Unfortunately for her, this would prove to be her biggest mistake as the distraction was enough for something to take advantage as silently beneath her, what looked to be a tendril was very slowly wrapping itself around her leg.
And Yoko failed to realize it as the woman let out a sigh, putting her focus back to checking her surroundings, but as she tried to walk, she felt…resistance coming from her foot?

Yoko blinked a few times in confusion as she looked down, “Huh? What is- AAAH!!!”

The former Umbrella Scientist yelled out in terror as she was suddenly pulled down to the edge of the pit, losing grip on her M16A4 as it slid onto the muddy ground before her and being forced to try and hold onto anything to keep herself from falling.
“S-SOMEONE! HELP ME!! PLEASE!!” Yoko yelled out, immediately starting to panic.

Her hands dug into the mud before her, pulling and scraping about in an attempt to pull herself up, but to no avail as whatever had a hold of her leg was not intent on letting go.
Her fearful eyes looked everywhere for anything to help…they would soon widen as she witnessed her hands lose whatever grip she had, leaving claw marks in the humid soil, and began to be pulled down into the pit!

“NOOO!!!! HEEEEEeeeeel…” Yoko's fearful cry for help slowly drowned out as she was pulled down into the pit, her fate having been sealed.

Down within the pit, the former Umbrella Scientist landed with a hard thud onto the muddy ground, groaning loudly as she tried to recover from the fall.
She shook her head a few times, before her eyes widened yet again and soon started to breath quickly and nervously as she crawled away, her back eventually pressing itself into the very steep muddy hill that led back up to where she once stood.

Oh nononono, what should I do?! What should I do?! There's no way I can climb back up by myself like this! Yoko thought to herself in a worried manner, And what caught me?! Oh, this is really bad…

Squelch
Her ears picking up the disgusting sound, the still-stunned scientist looked around in an attempt to pinpoint where the noise came from.
The sound once again echoed through the bottom of the pit, now bringing Yoko to deduce whatever made the sound was closing in on her, albeit rather slowly.

Soon enough, Yoko squinted her eyes, swearing she had caught something glistening in the dark, until the very cause of the noise crawled into the dimly-lit area she found herself in, causing her to freeze with shock.

Before her was what seemed to be the largest slug she had ever seen.
The mollusc was around the size of an urban car, perhaps slightly longer.
Most striking among its physical characteristics was its color pattern, which turned out to be the same as the Hunter Gamma that attempted to swallow her earlier.

A… A G-Gamma slug ??? The woman thought, staring in sheer disbelief at the creature, her eyes widening once again as she was putting the pieces of the puzzle together, realizing the only reason she had not been ambushed since she parted ways with Ada and Jill was because she entered its own hunting grounds, and that the Hunters knew better than trespassing.

“Oh fuck… Don’t tell me I straight up jumped out of the frying pan into the fire.” She muttered, trying to keep as quiet as possible in hopes the slug before her would lose interest in her, now that she deduced it was the top predator around this section of the reservoir.

Unfortunately for the former Umbrella worker, the slug’s curiosity did not falter.
Rather, it simply stared, scanning every inch of her body with its telescopic eyes before slightly rearing up to reveal a reddish underbelly sporting gray spots as well.
Besides, if this giant gastropod was the creature that dragged her into that darn pit, her chances of ever getting out were pretty low, and dwindling the longer she stayed here, fearing the moment the gamma slug would eventually strike.

Silently gulping, Yoko could only watch in silence as the Gamma Slug seemed to be staring at her as if it was in a daze, not knowing what was going through the creature's head.
Faint whimpers could be heard from the former Scientist as the most important thing to note was that she was completely unarmed at this moment, considering her M16A4 was far out of reach for her to grab.

Granted, she still had a pocket knife with her, but even then, something told her that this Slug's skin would be tough to even leave a scratch with her simple knife.
It was times like this where she really needed to get herself a combat knife…

Though that would be the least of her worries as the giant gastropod let out a small growl, Yoko watched on as she saw its tendrils moving around a bit as they emerged from an opening she could only assume to be the slug’s mouth, before they slowly started heading right for her.
The woman let out a fearful whimper, quickly pulling her pocket knife out and made an attempt to look dangerous as she held her knife before her at the tendrils, clinging on to the tiniest bit of hope that the blade of her weapon could deter it.

“D-Don’t you dare come any closer !” She exclaimed, now trying to regain her composure and starting to defensively swing her knife in an effort to keep the gamma slug’s tendrils at bay, one tendril recoiling a bit after the sharp steel grazed against the first layer, drawing what appeared to be blue blood, for the substance owed its color to the presence of copper in the proteins composing it.

Despite managing to draw a drop of blood, Yoko knew better than rejoicing too soon, fully aware she had to remain alert under all circumstances from this point on and that this little scratch would not be enough for the mollusc to be deterred and give up the fight.
If anything, the slug used another of its tendrils, tentatively reaching out towards her ankle in an attempt to grab it, only for its bipedal opponent to notice in the nick of time.

“OH NO YOU DON'T !” The lady shouted upon seeing the dull-colored tendril start wrapping itself around her right ankle.
Quickly reacting, and not wanting the creature to grab and pull her like it did when she was close to the pit, she then swung her blade at the fleshy appendage before it could even tighten its grip, forcing it to promptly let go of her leg and retreat, leaving a more significant trail of blood behind.

One would hope that keeping its tendrils away would be enough to indicate to the beast that trying to take someone like Yoko as prey would be a dangerous task.
It was quite literally her only hope to cling onto considering that this thing could easily take her with ease due to its size alone.

Unknown to her, however, the Gamma Slug was a lot smarter than its appearance could suggest.
As a matter of fact, it was simply toying with her.
Going completely invisible to the Scientist, one of its tendrils was slowly sneaking itself from beside Yoko as the Slug had the unique ability to manipulate its chromatophores to match the color of its surroundings which also explained why the Scientist couldn't see the beast from within above the pit earlier.

And Yoko was about to be given a harsh reality check about how deceiving looks can be.
While she went to slice another tendril trying to grab her, she was completely caught off guard when a brown tendril wrapped around the wrist of her hand that held her knife, before it tugged tightly and caused her weapon to be forcefully let go!
Her eyes immediately widened in horror, trying to pull the tendril away gripping her wrist, starting to panic and breathe in a quick manner as she saw more of its tendrils slowly get closer to her body.

Nonononono! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! Yoko thought to herself, the only hope she had now completely gone and fear was all that engulfed her mind.

To be fair, seeing the tendrils coming from the giant slug’s slimy mouth did nothing to help her calm down even for a bit.
The woman then instinctively stomped hard enough on the ground to anchor herself into the mud in an effort to keep her balance, for she knew the mission would be over for her if she even fell to the ground like her adversary wished.

“C’mon, c’mon, c’mon !!” She grunted, silently hoping she would manage to keep standing while she used her free hand and attempted to grab the slimy tendril wrapped around her wrist, only to find out how resilient this one was compared to the ones she previously managed to dice with her combat knife.
Beside, the slug was tugging with such strength Yoko could swear her shoulder could be dislocated the moment it decided to pull harder.
More frightening was the fact she began to feel her boots sliding against the mud despite having quite solidly planted herself into the ground.

And then it happened…Yoko made a fatal mistake as the moment she felt herself losing her footing, she tried to adjust herself and to her horror, slipped and fell onto her back !
That was all the Gamma Slug needed as taking advantage of the mistake, its tendrils quickly started to wrap around her body, pinning her legs together and soon started to slowly drag her towards its awaiting mouth!

Panicking even further, Yoko started to hyperventilate as she attempted to grab onto the mud, yet again, to keep herself in place, but all she did was make claw marks within the mud, “NO! NO! LET ME GO, PLEASE!!!”
The poor scientist couldn't contain her fear anymore and soon fell back to who she used to be during the nightmarish times within Raccoon City, a scared, helpless woman who needed to rely on others to save her.

Eyes wide with fear, the former scientist could only watch on with horror as the lips of the Gamma Slug slowly engulfed her feet and began its process to swallow the woman whole.
“HELP ! ADA ! JILL !” The 43-year-old agent screamed, almost at the top of her lungs, her scream echoing through the pit as she felt the gastropod’s slimy mouth performing its dreadful task, which consisted in sucking the poor woman deeper, her calves slowly vanishing despite her best efforts.

Panic and disgust were dominating her mind, momentarily clouding any sense of judgment while she desperately attempted to crawl her way out of her attacker’s greedy mouth, which wasted little time trailing over her knees and started going up her toned calves, her skin only protected by the fabric of her trousers.
Gritting her teeth and shedding tears, the helpless woman closed her eyes, only for her mind to clear up a bit to reveal she may still have a chance of escape, one she failed to think of earlier.

And that chance of escape was right within her jacket! Her Flare gun!

With her free hand, Yoko dug into the inside of her jacket, the sliver of hope returning as her hand clasped around the flare gun, promptly pulling it out before aiming at the creature and staring at it in nothing but a disdainful expression.

“Smile, you son of a-” She grunted, shooting the flare right into the slug’s left side, resulting in said flare planting itself not too far behind the left eye and exploding, blowing chunks of flesh and severely burning the creature, which emitted a higher pitched squelching sound the scientist was quick to associate with pain.

As a result, the tendrils’ grip on the former Umbrella worker’s legs loosened, giving her the chance to escape.
Gaining leverage, she kicked her legs in the horrid mollusc’s mouth, steadily shaking the tendrils off her before managing to crawl out, giving a well placed kick on the beast’s soft head in the process.
“Urgh… If I knew there was going to be a giant slug, I would have brought a lot of salt.” Yoko sarcastically remarked as she stood back up, reminiscing how slugs negatively reacted whenever salt was thrown at them, before taking a glance at her lower legs, which were covered in the slug’s saliva, “Alright, time to make my presence known to Jill and Miss Wong.”.

Such were the words she uttered before sighing in relief, slowly letting go of the tension she felt in this overall unpleasant experience as she turned away from the apparently inanimate slug, whose wound looked severe enough to drastically lower its chances of survival.
There, she took a little moment to reload her flare gun before aiming at the sky.

Not thinking twice, the agent pulled the trigger, launching the flare and watching as it ascended into the sky, maybe not that high above the pit but still enough for her colleagues to notice.
Maybe, all she had to do now was wait until both Ada and Jill came to the pit to get her out of this mess.

However, yet again making another fatal mistake, her attention on the seemingly dead Gamma Slug was no more and she failed to notice the area that her flare made impact had started to regenerate itself and the beast soon started to move again.
“I swear, whoever had the idea to create these damn Gamma Creatures, I wanna meet them personally myself and- GLLK!!!”

Her voice suddenly cut off, Yoko let out a choked gasp as she felt a fleshly tendril wrap itself around her neck tightly and completely closing her windpipe in the process.
Yoko could only instinctively open her mouth in an attempt to breathe, but all she could muster was hoarse chokes, before the tendril holding her neck squeezed tightly and pulled her down onto her back.

Her eyes nearly rolled up within her head, forcing her to watch on in immediate horror as the fleshy mouth of the Gamma Slug opened wide to swallow her whole yet again, the distance between her and the awaiting maw quickly dwindling despite her attempts at kicking her legs and anchoring her feet to the ground as the slug reeled her in.
“H-He….l…p…mmmh….,” Yoko weakly muttered out, before her head was slowly engulfed and muffled her voice entirely.

Wanting to ensure its prey would not try and fight back, its remaining tendrils swiftly wrapped themselves around her body, pinning her arms and legs together, also as a means to swallow her much easier as it was time to claim its meal.

With her vision now surrounded with humid walls of flesh, Yoko instinctively wiggled, trying to shake the tendrils off her, though it was clear their grip was too strong for her moves to have any significant impact.
That being said, nearly choking out, she felt the tentacle around her neck slightly loosening, allowing her to breathe again.
“U-URGH” She groaned, nearly gagging in disgust as all she could breathe was the foul stench surrounding her head, a stench she likened to a mix between rotten eggs and decomposed meat.

“H-hey ! Don’t you think of going further !” Yoko exclaimed, trying to have the giant slug comply to her demand, which obviously fell on deaf ears, considering the creature did not exactly possess any visible organs that could be associated with conventional hearing.
And even if it did, the mollusc did not give a single damn, only interested in conquering the piece of meat she was, and given how tightly she was bound in its tentacles and how lubricated she was thanks to the ambient humidity, it would almost be too easy.

Effortlessly trailing over her neck and shoulders, the giant gastropod soon began widening its jawless mouth in an attempt to fit her breasts, which may not have been as big as the ones her older colleagues sported but were respectable in their own right.
Much to Yoko's embarrassment, she let out a disgusted moan as the rims of the Gamma Slug's mouth greedily pressed and rubbed into her decently defined chest.

“A-Aah~!!! F-Fucking P-Pervert!!” Yoko cursed out loud, only being forced to close her mouth shut as the nauseous smell of its insides nearly made her throw up simply due to how foul it was.
However, disgust rapidly shifted back to horror as the beasts’ lips got past her chest with frightening ease and were already reaching down to her waist.

Starting to hyperventilate once again, the BSAA agent made another attempt at struggling in hopes of breaking free from this monster’s grasp, her feet trying to hook into the mud to keep herself in place or at least buy as much time as possible, until either Jill or Ada came to rescue her.
But, the slug's grip was staggeringly strong, the tendrils only squeezing tighter to keep its prey in place, much to the woman's terror.

P-Please make it in time, you guys! I-I don't wanna die here!! Yoko thought to herself, her friends and colleagues being the only shred of hope left to cling onto.
Unfortunately for her, there was still no sight of her female companions as the Gamma Slug’s lips reached to her rather plump rear and soon pressed themselves into them.

The former scientist had to sink her teeth into her lower lip in order to try and hold back disgusted moans, not wanting to deal with its horrendous smell as the beast’s lips steadily kept trailing down her body.
However, it was at this very moment the dreaded reality kicked in, considering how far the Gamma Slug had already reached….

Yoko's eyes widened with horror and her mind being completely overtaken with fear, the woman couldn't contain the screams from within as her legs struggled with literally everything that she could muster!
She was close to being entirely swallowed whole and considering she didn't hear any indication that her companions had arrived, the grim reality was starting to kick in.

“NO!!! NO!!! I DON'T WANT TO DIE LIKE THIS!!! SOMEONE!!! HELP!!!!!” Yoko cried out in terror within the Gamma Slug's mouth.
Unfortunately for her, her cries only came out muffled and unheard as the creatures’ lips trailed past her rear, her thighs following suit, eventually reaching to the B.S.A.A agent's knees.

The end was near for Yoko…

Soon enough, the monstrous gastropod began recoiling into the dark, slightly rearing up and causing its prey to helplessly wriggle her legs in the air.
Still panicking, the woman nearly gagged in shock as she began feeling herself get bent upside down while the slug’s throat muscles kept pulsating rhythmically around her, kneading her body as she steadily sank deeper while her devourer aided itself with gravity in order to take her down.

Whimpering in despair, Yoko closed her eyes.
Not that such an action would have changed much in her current situation, for darkness reigned supreme in the tight, fleshy tunnel in which she was being forced, every pulsation pushing her deeper.

And the deeper she went, the more she would soon disappear from the face of the world as with gravity aiding her descent into its mouth, all that was left were her feet as the lips of the Gamma Slug slowly opened themselves to make the process easier.
With an audible sound of gulping, the lips of the beast soon engulfed Yoko's feet entirely and eventually, she would find herself meeting another mouth of sorts as her head pressed into a wall of flesh.

Yoko didn't even need to think twice about what this was, deducing that this was probably the entrance into its stomach, the grim fate of being digested having settled itself within her mind.

I-I can't believe it…I really am going to die being eaten by a monster…, Yoko thought to herself in defeat, Jill…Ada…please….

Before she knew it, the fleshy wall soon engulfed her head as from the outside, the bulge that contained the former Scientist was seen entering into its main body, loud gurgling noises heard as it worked on having its prey enter its stomach, which was barely more spacious than the tight throat she was descending through.
At this point, the process was quite simple as Yoko could do literally nothing within her predicament, simply forced to accept her fate as the fleshy wall engulfed more of her body, feeling herself pulled within its stomach.

You could barely see the tiniest of movement within the bulge that contained Yoko, but it was brief, if not minimal at most.
Slowly, the bulge got smaller and smaller, the gurgling noises getting more intense until one final and audible gulp echoed through the pit, with any hint of Yoko’s presence in the vicinity disappearing from view, and the B.S.A.A agent had been taken by the Gamma Slug.

Now within its stomach, Yoko found herself forced into a lying position, on her back, as the fleshy walls surrounded her, while also pressing and massaging into her body, much to her disgust.

W-What’s gonna happen now? Am I going to die painfully…or is it gonna be merciful to me…I don't know what to expect at this point, Yoko thought to herself, tears slowly forming as she accepted what seemed to be that grim fate of hers.
However, things seemed to only get worse as the former Scientist suddenly felt masses of flesh begin to surround her body, looking as though her body was sinking into Quicksand!

Seeing this, Yoko started hyperventilating, the sight of her body being seemingly taken by the flesh being far too much for her to take in.
T-This is how it's going to eat me?! W-What did I do to deserve this?! Yoko thought to herself with pure horror.

Though as she did, part of her probably felt that this was perhaps punishment for her previous life back within Umbrella considering a deal with them was similar if not exactly like taking a deal with the devil itself.
Even if it was, Yoko couldn't hold in the tears at this point, whimpering in defeat and shutting her eyes as she felt the fleshy walls engulf her body and slowly reached up to her neck.

However, what followed soon after was not the flesh engulfing her entirely, but something that would catch her off-guard again as she heard a strange squelching sound, before suddenly feeling something latch itself to her mouth !
“MMMNGH?!” Yoko’s voice muffled out in shock and confusion, opening her eyes finally to see what the hell was going on.

Just as she looked to see what had just latched itself to her, the woman was in total disgust as what looked like a tendril acting as a mouth of sorts had just connected itself to her mouth!

“What the hell….?!” she thought, completely in shock and attempting to shake the tendril off

Yoko tried her best, but her efforts were all for naught as the tendril also inserted a smaller one past her lips, brushing past her tongue. And to make matters worse, her horrified gaze locked itself onto something that also disgusted her greatly.
Small bulges were seen traveling down the tendril and heading right for where it was connected to her mouth and that was when the dreadful reality hit her like a truck.

It wasn't going to digest her…it was planning to savor her as perhaps a source of energy or worse… as little more than something for the slug to vent its potentially lustful urges !

N-No ! Get that shit off !!!, the woman thought, her eyes widened with horror as she was hit with the realization. In fact, she even began to wonder if the Hunter Gamma was a better option than this. Sure, she would still have been eaten whole, but at the very least, the foul bipedal creature would probably have gotten the decency of not using her body for any further goal than consumption.

Before Yoko had a chance to even think of anything to prevent the creature from further defiling her mouth, she soon felt those bulges enter into her mouth and muffled choking sounds followed right after as a very disgusting liquid was forced into her mouth and down her throat.

UGH, WHAT THE FUCK IS THI…s…sh…i..t…, Yoko tried to think to herself, outraged at how the slug added insult to the injury by orally violating her, as if being swallowed whole wasn’t humiliating enough, but the effects of the liquid were already starting to take a hold of her.
Going completely unknown to the B.S.A.A agent, the liquid that was forced down her system had a paralytic effect to it which was arguably even stronger than your average kind as not only had Yoko's body gone completely numb, but that also included her mind entirely.

Within seconds, the life within the unfortunate lady's eyes was completely gone and all that was left was a literal shell of her former self. With the process finished and the woman unable to literally do anything at this point, the flesh holding her soon began to morph and change shapes.

Slowly, the wall of flesh began to shift itself, slowly forming into a cocoon as only Yoko's face stuck out of the fleshy ball-like structure, all the while a tendril still connected itself upon her mouth to provide her with oxygen, considering how much of a lifeless state the agent was in.

But the conclusion was clear as day…Yoko Suzuki…one of the three agents tasked with this mission in Moreau’s Reservoir…had been defeated and taken.

One down…two more to go.
