Just a perfectly normal horse, after a perfectly normal horse-meal.
Tried a few different things in this piece, shading a pale-white character, drawing backgrounds, using skew-transformations to try and make things move a little more organically
I like how it turned out, think I could've made the mane and tail a bit nicer, and cleaned up the shading a bit better but perfection is an unreasonable standard.

Oh wow very interesting animation style on that, I can't even tell how it was done, great job!

Layers, a good amount of layers. As well as a lot of moving pixels by a single increment to make the very slight movements.
There was a point where I thought to myself "Am I really going to shift every pixel on every layer by one coordinate on every frame?" Turns out the answer was 'yes'
I think I've gone insane

There's gotta be a better workflow for something like that, I tried SmackStudio but didn't do things quite as I wanted...

Probably, I could've set it up better before animating and such, but it's a learning experience. I'm just being a tiny bit dramatic, I wouldn't have done it if I felt it was too much work.
just have to balance how much work you want to put in, compared to how 'complex' of a result you want, if that makes sense.

hopefully you learned a lot in the process anyway. the results definitely cannot be questioned this is simply incredible. It is such beautiful hard-work, I mean, you even made sure the horse's shadow moves believably. It really makes me wanna be horse-food!

Definitely, I'm glad to hear my work was worth it, thank you :3
