Pursuing her hobby of collecting interesting and odd spells, Frieren comes across one unlike anything she’s encountered before. However, the man in possession of it doesn’t want money or an errand done for it. Instead, he asks for Frieren to use her magic to make a dream of his come true and finally sate a curiosity he’s held for years.

Didn't forget or not get enough time to write this time! But my area did get hit by a power outage, which is why I'm posting a bit later ^^; If it's not one thing, it's another lol
Really had fun with this story and getting to learn more about Frieren's world and magic system, but I'm definitely going to have to go over other poll options and try to trim them down from being 10k words long. While I didn't finish on the last day available... it was close.

And I wouldn't be opposed to writing one, if I get inspired. This story came about from a silly idea I initially had about Frieren telling the kid/apprentice of a mage that demons don't swallow people whole after hearing the tale at the beginning and accepting the grimoire from them lol
Maybe I'll do something with Fern shrinking to investigate a tummyache or something

That would be fun, especially if whatever's causing Frieren to have a stomachache results in some sort of bowel trouble for her (and Fern) on the way out of her.

Part of me wants to do a story where Frieren is the one who shrinks and goes inside of Fern, but her reaction to being in a mimic mouth might make her never want to try it lol

The question is, which of the two evils is worse to Frieren? Dark, scary places or the frigid cold?

Frieren's just gotta make sure she's awake enough in the mornings to cast the anti-digestion spell on Vorspeise before she swallows him again lol ^^;
I'm sure it'll be fine (and not just because I'm trying to write more stories with nicer, less fatal endings :P)
