It's been a while, huh?

Don't think I've not been thinking of you all. I've missed getting to write over the tumultuous few years since my last novel project began.

The thing is, I've been writing for pleasure in the background. And in the time that I've taken, Feast of Flesh has ballooned from a little passion project to something much, much bigger. I've made lots of changes since the earlier drafts, and the project has turned from a written novel to a full scale multimedia experience. So for 2024 I'm committed to releasing the full Feast of Flesh project at long last.

Hey there folks,

Thank you all for putting up with me while I've been on a hiatus from writing. I'll admit, the latter half of the year has not been great for me. Without going too much into it, mental health and work stress conspired to make it impossible for me to write (or to take pleasure in writing).

That said, I've had a few life changes for the better, and among them is getting back to some writing. It's nice to realize how much I really was missing it.

But, I also have limitations, and I was burning out the way I was doing it before. So I wanted to take a moment to address a few things for the coming months:

Sooooo... yeah... burnout and ability to finish writing sucks with the new work gig I've got going on. So I'm going to need to put Patreon on hiatus till I can get a handle on a more lenient writing system/schedule.

Hey there everyone, thank you all for being patient on the updates. Now that things have settled out a bit, I should be able to explain why I've been so distant.

Over the past month I've made a career change. Because of the job demands, and the shift in my work-life balance, I will need to pare down my commissions to a more reasonable and manageable number. What does this mean for CCD?

The big announcement yesterday was that This Side of the Slaughterhouse is now officially released for sale on Gumroad! If you've been waiting for the final release, get yourself a copy and enjoy the mouthwatering tale!

But I was looking back through my main gallery, and there's... a lot of promos for both TSotS and for LFIH. I'm contemplating moving those Patreon Promos off to my scraps and maybe into a side folder so my main gallery looks a little cleaner. I'd still keep the public excerpts. And I'd also keep my one-off story promos because people might be interested in learning about them before subscribing...
