I've been wondering about this sort of thing for a while. I kind of want to take commissions; it would be nice to have some extra income and to write some more interesting stuff. Do you think that eight stories- I'll probably finish up a few chapters of a more involved thing or at least post a few more stories I've written in the past- is enough of a portfolio to take commissions? If it is, what on earth seems like a good price range? It seems all over the place.

So, recently... stuff has happened! A lot of stuff! My laptop broke, amongst other things, and I haven't really posted anything. And I should really get back to doing that, since I do enjoy writing vore. Not much else to mention than that, at the moment.

Good lord, do I hate the Ekas submission process sometimes xD

I'm reasonably, reasonably sure I should probably come up with actual uniform thumbnails for my stories. Or should I keep doing the generic 'slap whatever I can find on it' thing I've been doing? I've seen people do both, but I'm slightly worried uniform thumbnails could come across as tacky or annoying, especially as the 'title and content within at a glance' thing is usually pretty common (and mine would certainly be less high quality than people who know what they're doing). On the other hand, I doubt that what I've been doing is particularly professional or impressive, either.

I am conflicted! Thus, I throw my questions at you, internet vore fellows. What do you guys think?

So! Blogs are a thing! If anyone is passing by, I wanted to ask your opinion on this. What's the best length for the average vore story? I tend to clock in at around 3-4k with two thousand words being relatively short for me. My longest stories are usually around 7k. Do you guys like longer stories? Shorter stories? I tend to go longer on stories with more active plots or that require more setup, I've observed. The usual snatch and grab requires less setup (you mostly need the characters and a possibly generic setting), but something with a weirder world or an actual plot (even a simpler one!) tends to run a bit longer.

For that matter, how long do you think the average chapter of a vore story should be, if I ever post anything chapter by chapter? I don't have any plans at...
