I have to come out and say it. I have an addiction. Posted 17 years ago
Well, yeah, I can say I'm addicted to something. It's sleep. I'm noticing that I'm sleeping and napping tons more during the day. I've gotten my bed fluffed up with fleece blankets, fuzzy pillows and a giant micro suede body pillow. I don't know if that where I feel comfortable, or if it's something psychological. If some of you are wondering why I'm not on MSN or yahoo a lot, it's usually because I'm in the realm of unconsciousness. It's weird though. I get plenty of sleep and feel rested upon awakening, but the instant I get back into bed, I'm completely out like a light. Funny thing is though, it's usually only during the day and in the evenings. When night rolls around, I'm awake and frisky. I think it's because over the course of my life, I do a lot of homework at night. Right now I'm...

Once again, I'm ashamed to be a member of the human race Posted 17 years ago
Okay, so here's the setting. It's Halloween and Jackie is singing in SIUC's "Halloween Pops Concert" which was a lot of fun. Costume contests, choral performances and orchestral music. All fun, right? Well it's assigned seating, and my seat is K-15 (not like it matters, but I'm practicing detail). I sit down next to this older couple, which really is not a problem.....until the old bat next to me opens her mouth. This old lady looks me over (I'm in my Fairly Oddparents garb, Jackie and I were Cosmo and Wanda) and looks me straight in the eye. She asks me, "Are you and American?" Now this isn't the normal way to start a conversation. I'm extremely puzzled and say, "Well, yeah." To which she responds, "Oh thank you. There's these Japanese people in the row in front speaking Japanese and then...

I'd like a little outside advice, if there's any to offer Posted 17 years ago
Well I was hoping the comment boards would offer a bit of diverse input, I was wrong. So I'm asking you, faithful blog readers to do me a favor. I have two stories in the writing archives, but there was only one comment on them. Each one of them has a continuation that is half finished. What I would like to know is which one readers think I should continue. So I humbly ask anyone that reads this blog, to read my two stories and offer their opinions in this entry.

My archive:

Both stories involve furry characters, one is Soft Vore, the other is UB. There's a little bit of blood in one, but it's VERY minimal, I promise.
Which one should I continue?

Also, I have been...

ARTISTS! HELP ME! Posted 17 years ago
Alright, as you all know, I'm obviously furry. I'm not much of an artist, but much more of a writer. I draw a bit in custom car decals, but want to start some furry art. I have my "Inspiration" notebook as I call it. It's rapidly filling with story ideas, picture ideas, decal designs, and all that. But the fact I'm bugged on is that there are 3 full pages with furry art parts. Ears, tails, paws, hands, footpaws, noses, whiskers, eyes, etc. They look kinda cartoony, but that's what I see in my head. I think that the parts look pretty good and have some depth, but I can't put them together. If I'm drawing them in pieces, it's good, but if I try to connect them into one drawing, it looks awful, two dimensional, and just bad. They just won't come together. What am I doing wrong? I've been...

Mourning a Loss Posted 17 years ago
Well, it was fun while it lasted, but now it's over. The British operated website known as TV-Links was raided and shut down due to it being deemed a "piracy" website. While the site hosted no actual content, apparently its linking to other sites with pirated videos was considered promotion of piracy. So it has come to pass that I no longer have access to a linking library of Rocko's Modern Life, Megas XLR, Mystery Science Theater 3000, or any other classic old cartoons.

On a side note, this is the second time I've had a slightly misleading blog title. The last time I did it, it was believed that Jackie and I had broken up or that I was leaving the portal. I'm such a bitch, aren't I?
Batten Down the Hatches!! Red Alert! Posted 17 years ago
As a night owl, I see a lot of things. My window was open in my dorm room and there was light rain falling outside. Paying it no mind, I kept on with a paper for Shakespeare. Then without warning, there is an almighty roar as the wind starts howling and driving sheets of rain are falling SIDEWAYS. This storm hit fast, but the full fury is yet to be seen by me.

This is the radar from a few minutes ago.

I'm locking the windows. FYI, the little city of Carbondale is where I reside.
DETHKLOK! DETHKLOK! Posted 17 years ago
Okay, so I know that a lot of you watch Adult Swim. Well this fall, they're conducting a cross country tour of different colleges in the USA. Well on November the 13th, the tour bus makes its destination Southern Illinois University Carbondale! That's obviously where I attend school, but it gets better. I work for the student run TV station, SPC-TV, and we're covering the event! Out of all the people at the station, I was one of 3 chosen to be on the crew! A live band of Dethklok will be doing a free concert as well as there being a Guitar Hero III Tournament. The winner gets to go up on stage with Dethklok. I suck at Guitar Hero, but I have my ace in the hole. I get to go backstage at a concert and meet Dethklok! It'll be amazing since it has been rumored that the infamous Brendon Small...

I think I just died. Posted 17 years ago
Well I'm sitting here at my computer, watching an episode of Family Guy. All of a sudden I got a bad head rush, blinding me, followed by two splitting pains, one on either side of my head. I couldn't breathe and my body shivered. I went almost comatose, unable to really perceive anything in this state. Then, as quickly as it came, it left. I could see, felt no pain, and it was almost as if nothing had happened.

There is no family history in my line of neurological issues or seizures at all. It was weird. This has only happened once before, about 5-6 years ago. Both times, I've been in a sleep deprived state, but I've been sleep deprived many times before, but this has only happened these two times. I'm not kidding, this freaks me out.
I thought I knew what ridiculous was Posted 17 years ago
Well last weekend was a hoot. I went to a friend's twenty first birthday party and I've gotta say it was interesting. I've been friends with the guy for a long time and have known him to be a goofball with pure disregard for safety. The party started around 8pm at his house he rents with two others. We barbecued, drank beer and hard liquor, while generally having a good time. As the sun went down, we got the idea to start hurling our empty beer bottles at some stone columns. This area is 4 small houses on one property. They're all college occupied, so broken glass is quite common. After a few minutes of smashing bottles, out came the fencing gear. One cannot really fathom the greatness of drunken, western style fencing unless you've seen it. A foil in one hand, a beer in the other, and...

Something I'm starting to notice Posted 17 years ago
Yes, I read Shakespeare for fun. Yes, I'm a dork. :D

Anywho, I'm noticing a severe division that maybe I just looked over before. We're all here because we love vore. It's an uncommon cause that brings us together, but I'm noticing splitting off leading to rampant flame wars. Sure, some of us have other turn ons and turn offs, but why assault each other about it? I mean if you want to look at it from a social sense, we're all members of a fetish group that would be rejected automatically from the rest of the world. We all know rejection well, whether or not it personally affects us. But don't you see? We're turning into those who already oppose us. I mean it's the furries versus the humans, the hards versus the softs, etcetera, etcetera. Some users I've seen are almost...
